Using Partha's method but creating a GPT to make it quicker
I know, I'm being lazy again.
The other day, Partha published this Article - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/parthab/blog/pp-is-bard-to-the-bone-allow-me-to-blow-your-ai-mind
Though it looks long it's quite straightforward and a lot of it is some useful explanation as to why certain things are done. So once you have been through it once or twice, you'll probably be able to just pick out the main points and go through it much quicker. Also, it is a free method, always useful.
As instructed, I worked my way through it and followed all the instructions. and then just created a few images with Bing Image Creator. It was a bit mushy. Perhaps I didn't choose the right website page to use so I went back to my method of describing the style I wanted (no people are mentioned - just in case, and making it clear I wanted no mushiness!) I imagine this paragraph will make no sense if you haven't already been through the process.
Actually, none of this going forward will make sense if you're not using ChatGPT 4 or Playground. If that's the case, I suggest you just go back to Partha's article and work your way through it but copy and paste the main bits that you are going to use over and over again into a new document with any additions or alterations that you want to make, like adding the appropriate URL as he suggests,
Making my GPT - using ChatGPT4
I've been having fun making some GPTs since it was made available to me, So it's hardly surprising I would want to convert this to a GPT.
When I started I was just using natural language and adjusting things as I went along but I've gone back to my old method of writing a step set of instructions. which I can upload. (Do you remember the old days when this was called code interpreter? What was that two or three months ago? And then it became data or something or other that I've already forgotten!)
My instructions start:
- Please follow these instructions one step at a time. Stop and think in between each instruction. Make sure you are writing in British English.
- After each step please ask whether to continue with the next step
- Ask me for a Keyword
Then there are Partha's instructions with my variations (including style) as he suggests (or does he instruct?)
Next, I added: (Except that 1 is instruction number 10 etc.)
- Please add an FAQ section with 6 questions relating to this article.
- Please suggest 6 images or diagrams to support this article.
- Create image 1
- Follow the instructions used for image 1 for each of the other images in order.
- Ask me if anything else is needed.
This means I also have 6 images etc. However, I think I am going to update my instructions so that it gives images as I go along.
Why do I ask it to stop at each step?
Note that at each step it asks whether to continue - it will write something like - "This section aims to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of online income sources, equipping them with the knowledge to explore these options. Shall we proceed with this section, or is there anything you'd like to adjust or add?"
In the case just cited , I replied - This reads as an expanded outline rather than the section of the article as it should
And it replied: You're absolutely right. Let's delve into writing the detailed content for Body Section 2, focusing on Online Opportunities, in a format that directly addresses the reader in an engaging and informative style.
This makes me check what is happening as we go along and stops it from veering away from the instructions. I can also change or delete words and phrases, give it extra information or examples to include, etc as I go along.
I think it did a reasonable job - but you can judge for yourself as I am uploading the entire article without edits -

I hope you found this interesting.
All the best,

Great to hear from you again Julia, and I have to say that it did do a reasonable job!!
Very fun and interesting to play around with though don't you think?? :-)
You're very welcome. That is all that matters! When you enjoy what you do, Julia, you will be successful!

Hi Juila
I agree that the stepwise instruction set works best with pauses for prompt output evaluation.
I customize them as needed for each GPT I create. 😎

Hi Frank,
I'm looking forward to hearing more about your GPTs as I'm sure lots of other people are too!
Thank you
Julia
Thanks, Julia
Right now I’m just creating GPTs to produce short customized content, like lists, since the output can’t be saved (pinned). It has to be copied and pasted to an external document and then brought back into the GPT to continue working on the project at a later date and time.
When this functionality becomes available, we’ll be able to use GPTs more efficiently.😎
Frank 👍
Good point!
I did find a Chrome extension that did this but it was an ugly thing and so I got rid of it.
Haha, Julia. I believe it! 😎
The paid version of AIPRM also has some opportunities in that direction.
However, OpenAI will probably be doing another update soon.

Hi, Julia. Thanks for pointing out Partha's method. I used it with BARD to crank out a 3000-word post. It took a while to edit, but I can see how the method can be used to crank out a post a day.
I also asked BARD for photo suggestions and photo placement suggestions. I like how it turned out. There are none of the AI faves like "delve" and "enthusiasts", etc.
It seemed strange to work with BARD instead of Chat GPT. I felt like I was cheating on Chatty.
I will try the method with Chat Gpt4 soon.
Take care.
