Nuts and Bolts, and Few Other Bits and Pieces
Hey Friends
Hope everyone is well.
Multi-tasking
I'm always working on a few projects at a time, I've decided to slow my travels to refugee camps a little over the next little while, and devote more time to getting my book finally published and website revamped
While studying up on promoting my book, I had a few ideas about promoting other Indie publishers at the same time, kind of like an online cooperative.
If this spikes interest, leave a comment below, and we can PM each other, brainstorm and who knows what can manifest?
A Personal News Flash
A Personal Heartfelt Share
My Son is studying Photojournalism, he's always had a passion for both. After studying Graphic Design, he decided he didn't want to spend that much time sitting day in and out at a desk. Then out of the blue, he called me up and asked; Dad, I'd like to join you there in the Middle East, and also do Aid Work.
Now although there is nothing I'd Love more, I told him that I didn't think it was wise, for obvious reasons.
I received a Skype call a few days later:
~ Dad, I'm heading to South America with a group to travel and do Aid work.
From as long as I can recall, I've always pushed Josh to make decisions and follow his Dreams. Never just say "I Can't", always add "yet" , that problems are challenges, that present themselves with innate gifts. Well to my delight, he's grown into a Great Spiritual Warrior, who I'm proud to count as also one of my best Friends.
Anyway, he returned six months later, changed from his experience, the poverty he witnessed propelled him further onto his path.
Soon after returning, he enrolled in Photojournalism, and seems he's found his Niche. He's not yet graduated, yet last week he got his first job in his chosen field... He landed a weekly column with a small Ottawa Paper, where he can write about local social issues.
As he told me about this, I felt my heart swell inside my chest, ask me if I'm proud. My little guy, a columnist en herbe, sheesh brings tears to my eyes as I write this.
Now I've made a few mistakes along the way, seen a thing or two you know? That said, I do believe I've done something right, indeed our children are such a gift.
Dedicated to all us sitting at the other end of Life's spectrum
That's all for now Folks

Jozeph I always look forward to your posts. I respect you for what you do and why. I'm lost for words except I can feel how proud you are and should be.
Looking forward to you having a book published and me to read it.
Love how your son is following his heart as well.

Sweet sweet post as always bro - you know just how to pull those heartstrings! Sometimes when I think of my wonderful children my heart feels like bursting with pride - there is no feeling in the world like it except maybe the moment they took their first breath...Rock on brother... ;-)
You know it Sis, strange from the very start, Josh and I had a extremely strong past life connection.
Hope all is well Sis

Next week... yay! Thanks for asking hun...Canadian housewarming invitation in the post ;-)
Hi Jozeph, thanks for this post. Reading this brought tears I have made some notes for later. Something jumped at me like a thunderbolt and realisation hit me I CAN and will make progress here at WA. Bless you. BlessedB.
It gets even better Bro. I'm so proud of my daughter for the way she's brought up my 15 year old grandson. He was awarded the Citizenship Award at his high school last year. I'm proud of both my kids and their kids too.
Well stated Joseph.
As a parent, we can only do what we feel is best, based on the experience and knowledge we have gained during our lifetime and the knowledge gained along the way.
Whether some decisions are correct time will tell on some of those choices made.
As long as we learn from the mistakes and adjust and go forward then we have learned from the experience and know that no decision is ever a mistake, just an opportunity to learn and go forward from.
In this case, you have made many great decisions for Josh and for yourself, one for safety reasons, (part wisdom, part parent thinking part soul reaching) because of that decision alone he has propelled himself to a greater end working in Sth America and now with his Photojournalism.
We may not always know the greater plan of great spirit, but we know that when we trust from within the right choices have been made.
This is a great example of that inner choice made, one that has enabled Josh to go further forward in life I believe than what may have been had he chosen to ignore your wishes and gone elsewhere.
The advantage Josh has now is the real life experience gained in Sth America and one that will give him the added advantage in writing from as Heather would say"Deep to the bone and from the soul".
Good to also know Joseph that one thing that you have installed in him is respect for you and your inner core of knowledge of life.
I know he is proud to be your son as I am proud to call you my brother.
When you get the chance send my love and regards to Josh.
Take care bro and yes take a bit of time out for yourself as the issues there won't disappear overnight but you do need a well-earned break from that as well.
Yea yea I know, Sheesh tears to the eyes and more.
Blessing and we will connect again.
Your Bro
Andre

You know you are always welcomed.
Not sure about being a keeper but it is from the heart.
Enjoy the rest of your day and stay productive for yourself for a change, recharge your batteries within WA and your diaries and I guess I know you will recharge and create that warmth with a good glass of (yes I needed that).
Blessing Joseph

Home is where the heart is mine is never here. It is always within the light of divine oneness. All that is.

That's awesome Joseph. Thanks for sharing. Woeful is any day that we don't do at least one thing right. I've found no matter how far I've fallen, if I can help at least 1 person, the day wasn't a waste. Geoff. :)
Well said Geoff, and so true :)
Hope your day is going well, not to many hiccups
Blessings Friend
