Your Friday 5 Week 10

As always, if you missed any of the previous Your Friday... posts, you can find them at the bottom of this one.

Firstly, apologies to those of you who may have missed us last week - we didn't post one last Friday! We have been doing other projects and WA had to take a bit of a backseat for a while.

But we are back today.

So, let's dive in

What are we reading this week?

Debbie is still on the same book so we won't bore you with that! I am still on - "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D Wattles from 1910

Must admit with our other projects, I have managed to still read, but have cut it right down to just a couple of pages a day. Still loving it though

What are we grateful for?

This week we are grateful for the power of having an online business which affords us the luxury of being here all the time for our kids and also to be able to take time to enjoy them during the summer holidays, when so many kids are farmed out to grandparents and kids clubs.

Our youngest starts Grammar school next Tuesday - exciting but also trepidatious as he will begin the transition from little boy to young man! Holding mums hand, his love of cuddly toys and snuggles in bed with his mum and dad are to be enjoyed while we still can!

Our 2nd youngest starts University in 2 weeks time as well and will be leaving the family nest. She is such an important cog in our family wheel, this will be a big shock for us methinks!

We are so proud of both of them for following in our footsteps and following their dreams and making them happen through hard work and positive mental attitude.

What is our favourite quote of the week?

We thought this kinda sums up WA - in spades!

What are we learning?

The main reason for maintaining radio silence recently has been my (Jon) total immersion into all things FB Messenger marketing. We are adding this to our portfolio within our local business agency - in fact making it a major part of it.

The early signs are that this is huge and the vast majority of businesses are not using Messenger in a way that adds value and revenue to their business.

Exciting opportunity - early adopter ad all that!

What has been our biggest success this week?

Wow! another great week

Things to celebrate so far this week...

  • Having our best week financially since May 2016!
  • Doing almost $250 in affiliate commissions in 4 days through some product launches
  • Getting our Amazon physical product sales back on track after a bit of a dip!

As we said, what a week!

Great to hear of your achievements. Hope and pray that I will be able to achieve some successes here as it is slow going at present, I need to spend more time learning ,building my confidence levels and stop getting anxious about little or no traffic or regular income at this time. Hope you will continue to adjust well with all your family changes. Wishing you every success.

* My son turned 18, has his drivers license and is allowed to drive in his car alone now, without coach (me) and I can handle it without being worried, that's quite a success for me:)

The Science of getting rich is very old and very good reading
Keep up the great work and enjoy your weekend
