Your Friday 5
Morning Everyone. This is our first venture into the world of blogging here on WA.
One of my coaches does a Friday 5 which compiles a weekly list of 5 areas of his business that he has an interest in, so I thought it might be worthwhile doing something along those lines here, by way of inspiration.
So, here goes:
What are we reading this week?
This week I have been reading "Rethink Social Media" by Paul O'Mahony which is a really great book for both people just starting out on their online journey and also experienced war horses like me! Loads of golden nuggets on setting up an online business.
Debbie has been reading "Creating a Bug Free Mind" by Andy Shaw which has been an absolute life changer of a book for us. Dealing with mindset and getting back in control of your own mind has been momentous.
What are we grateful for?
We do gratitude journalling every morning (watch out for an upcoming blog post on that soon). Today in particular we are grateful for WA which is a fantastic community and such a breath of fresh air in the online space. We are also grateful for the beautiful place we live in, where we get to walk our 3 dogs and look out across countryside and listen to the many birds singing.
What is our favourite quote of the week?
This quote by Einstein encapsulates WA methinks - "Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value."
Because as we all know, the more you give the more you get.
What we are learning?
After the demise of the program that we were recently in, we had to take stock, take a step back and re-evaluate our online business.
This has been very enlightening and we are now moving forward creating content across our many platforms and giving a greater emphasis on giving value first. It gives a very warm feeling.
What has been our biggest success this week?
For me, being told that your website is one of the best they have seen is such a huge confidence booster. Very humbling.

I like your idea of "the favorite 5", a look back at your week. That's a great idea!!!
I usually think of Friday as the weekend is coming but not a review of accomplishment of the week. I really like this idea!!! Might have to start doing this.
