Is it just me or is Google Chrome starting to break?
Now when it comes to a default browser, up until a week or so ago, I would have always chosen Google Chrome.
But just recently I have started to notice instances where Chrome has stopped showing webpages for some reason.
Here is an example:
This is what I see on Chrome -
And here is what I see on Firefox -
I also recently created a flip html magazine style download as a giveaway. It worked without a problem on Chrome until last week, now it will not load properly!
I have also had other instances of the 'empty' screen as well!
Has anyone else experienced this recently?

I use a number of extensions on Chrome so maybe that's why I'm having problems. But even with all the extensions deactivated I can't use Chrome for my Thumbnail Blaster online image creator. I have to switch to Firefox for that.
I am starting to use Firefox more and more recently and in some cases, IE!!! ( thankfully not many) Its always good to have a different browser
I have been having problems with chrome lately as well! I don't know what happened but after I did an update I couldn't log into WA.
So I called my IT guy (husband) told me that I had installed some anti... Something blocker and it needs permission.
I told him all I did was update like I normally do. After bickering for 5 mins. It was fine. So I thought.
I couldn't see Jay's Webinar! The laptop needed permission for that too! Big headache. It seems to be working for now. We'll see.
I haven't run into any problems yet. However, I use Chrome all the time, so will keep my fingers crossed.
I have the same thing and use Firefox more, they seem to be doing similar to Facebook which may not be good for us
Hi Jon, Google Chrome is making a lot of changes. They are starting to create something similar to facebook, I think this is affecting a few people.
Personally google chrome has never been a favorite of mine. Just don't tell anyone.
I switch browsers, Opera, Firefox, Edge and Chrome, they all have different results for my website.
Best wishes,
Michael
I use Chrome all the time and have not had any problem as far as I know. Now you have me worried. Maybe I should be double checking things in Firefox just to be sure.
There have been a few times where Chrome seemed a bit wonky, but then it settled down.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to keep a closer eye on it.

Haven't had a problem with them yet, but appreciate the heads up. I do use Firefox, so may start using them more.
Good post.

Sometimes my Chrome is very slow when I start it up for the day. It then settles down and works perfectly for the rest of the day.
When last did you clear your Chrome cache and history? It is a good idea to do it once in a while.
I will check that although I did only clear them both out about a week ago. Thanks
