Bad Week Continues Luna Now Unwell
Hi All,
After my blog on being such a bad week, it continues today. Luna our lovely long haired rottie was sick yesterday bringing all her food up.
I have noticed that she has not been her bouncy self lately and Luna seems to be losing weight. She has been hiding away in her room and not eaten anything for two days.
Tonight I went and lay on the floor with her to reassure her, her stomach was chundering, gurgling and all sorts of loud noises.
Being quite worried, Luna is booked in to the vets in the morning. I am on tender hooks, now worried to death that she will be ok. Luna and myself are very close and I would be lost without her.

Did you try any alternative methods?
Such as French green clay or shungite?
Both have been shown to help heal various pet conditions.

Luna didn't eat again this morning, but loved her walk which she was desperate to go on.
Tonight I had a Sunday dinner of pork, all 3 of my rotties was drooling, INCLUDING LUNA !!!!!
All 3 had pork for their dinner tonight and all 3 loved it.
Yes, including Luna who ate everything in her dish.
Hopefully this is a good sign.

Do you normally feed her dry food or wet? Could she have pain in her teeth causing her to not want the dry food? Did the vet check her mouth?
Luna eats dry food as her normal diet. She has eaten a small amount of dry food, tonight she had a Sunday dinner of pork and ate the lot !!!
Hopefully this is a good sign. Her teeth is ok but a great point.
Luna is still not herself and will see what happens after more blood tests on Thursday.

Her blood tests were normal apart from her pancreas which the vet said was high.
Luna is having further blood tests next Thursday, hopefully things will improve for her soon.

Oh John, I know you must be scared to death! You have had such a rough patch lately! Hopefully it is just a temporary digestive issue.

Luna came for a walk this morning with Kass, the boy rottie. She wanted to go, otherwise I wouldn't have taken her. Luna is still not eating, didn't want her breakfast.
I am watching her really closely, she enjoyed her walk though !!!

It is definitely my dog, she is not well at all and had blood tests at the vets that were normal apart from the pancreas that was high. She has lost 2kg. More blood tests are being taken next Thursday, she is very quiet and lethargic at the moment, very worrying and upsetting.

She seems back to her usual self today, although off to the vets tomorrow for more blood tests.
