Got a text telling me my "cloud" was almost to the maximum and to update to more storage. Hadn't really checked it out lately, so went on and found out there were some images and videos, which could be deleted. Went on the phone and deleted them on there too, so it would not update to my "cloud". Also went through my contacts and deleted a bunch of them I will never use, so hope that made a lot more room, on my "cloud". It updates everything on my phone to the "cloud", so don't need to save things I'm not going to use, then pay extra to store it!

While doing it, I found a recent picture of me, which I took accidentally, when I was trying to take a picture of my dog. So darn many buttons on this smart phone and you just barely touch a spot and it does something, except when you want it to do something and you have to practically have to hit it with a hammer! lol

Getting used to the phone, which is nice, but it does so much, which I don't really need, but there are different things, mainly the weather, which I can check in the morning, before I take my dog, for a walk. We get a few nice warm sunny days, here in Wisconsin, then it's back into the freezer again. It wouldn't be so bad, but then it seems to be windy too, which makes it colder. Wisconsin weather, wait a few minutes and it will change.

Didn't realize I would get so much e-mail from everyone, with the following, so was kind of bogged down. I put all the Wealthy Affiliate e-mail in one folder, then as I go through them, ones I want to keep, I put in a different folder, then after following up on the other ones, I delete them.

I got caught up to yesterday and today, so am going to go on my Bootcamp and work in there and try to get things set up. One thing I need to look into is how to transfer my website from siterubix to my domain, which I recently bought. Well guess I will go make something to eat.

2:10 pm

Still working on things. Finally went in and created a new Gmail account, so e-mails, from Wealthy Associates, will come to this account instead of my other account, which I still have. Have been trying to work on the Affiliate Bootcamp and have managed to move my siterubix website to my new domain, so now that is done. Little by little I'll get this set up and working yet! Will keep everyone posted. John

Step by step and you will get there! Best of luck to you!

Good start John! Organization by any means is such a necessary evil, a sometimes can become a huge distraction. There is quite a bit here in the discussions on it, actually.

One such is this Another, for help with our websites that may be encouraging is

Great work, John!
Clearing and organizing makes so much room for focus :-) .

I noticed some cloud storage facilities are cutting back the free option know that one drive has cut it quite a bit

I was lucky I could go in and delete a lot of stuff I don't want to save, so when my phone updates it disappears, at least I hope it does, have to double check. I also have a company called PC backup and they too wanted to increase my cloud and wanted more money. I decided to transfer a number of the less important files to a flash drive, so they weren't on the cloud service. Opened up a whole lot of storage for me. I don't have such important stuff to really need a cloud, other than the book I had published in 2009.

good work I keep my on a extra hard drive, even one drive have cut the amount of free storage and is now charging for more

Hi John,
Sounds like you got a lot done. It can get tedious, but it needed to be done. I love cheese curds from Wisconsin! The weather sounds brutal to say the least. Keep up the good work. Enjoy your dinner!

Hi, John looks like you are settling in, takes a bit to get used to new phones, so good when we do. The good thing about WA is that we can all move at our own pace.

John, when you're ready, it's really easy to transfer your siterubix site to your own domain. Just go to 'Site Manager' and click on the "move" button on your siterubix site. Follow the directions from there. Really easy. If you have any trouble, just let me know and I'll walk you through it. Stay warm and give your pooch a scratch for me. Karen

Interesting blog - thanks

The cloud is so useful but can also be a nuisance as there is tendency to keep stuff you don't need.
What did we do before smartphone?
Hope this saves you time with your transfer:
