Finished a 6000 Word Article (took me about a week)
I had no idea that it would take me so long to actually finish this article, when the idea for this article came into my mind a few weeks ago. It took around a week to finish this 6,091 word article, writing over a 4 day period for at least 6 hours.
Anyway, I am into Wealthy Affiliate since July 2018 in my new niche, my website went online late July. I can see the progress I am making and I am learning more every day about online marketing, and absolutely love it. I still have to fix up the structure of my blog a bit, getting some web design help in November....
I am still part time and considering going full time, but have to work out a few things with job, family etc first. Can't wait to see where this will take me 1 year, 5 year, 10 years from now.
I don't think I will write another 6,000 word article anytime soon, I rather go with 2 x 2,000-3,000 articles in the future. But here is the 6,000 mammoth that took me about a week to finish, l hope it will get ranked!

Other than that, my website and this posts got indexed by google quickly and I actually added the some affiliate links to my website recently. I realise I need to get to about 30 posts before the search engines will start taking me more seriously. It's exciting to know, that I have a goal in mind and success is possible. I could potentially earn my first 1$ soon.

Well done but if time is against you, use the time to generate 3 articles of 2k words each. That way you rank for a more varied number of keywords

Thanks Paul, for sure, using the time to generate 3 articles of 2,000+ words each. And ranking for a more varied number of keywords make complete sense!. My other articles are in the 2-3K band, though my Wealthy Affiliate review is 4,300 (so many great things to write about our platform)!
But yes sir, back to the 2,000 articles :-)
Thank you for the encouragement everyone! I should add that the topic was one I am very passionate about, having been involved in that niche for many years. So no plans to do this soon, I'll focus on the I rather go with 2 x 2,000-3,000 articles in the future!

WOW!! I have yet to write one that long. I just write like you do, for the few that I have done. I don't usually have time to spend writing, but this weekend I am finally able to work on my site. I am in one of my short breaks and was your blog. Couldn't help but read it since I am now in the middle of one now...I don't think it will be that long. Either way...GREAT JOB!!
