Domain Names are so Expensive, Why Do I Even Need Them?
Getting your own domain name is almost a must if you want to do business online, and if you have been doing online marketing for a while now, you will already know this.

Too many of you are afraid to purchase a $13 domain but I really don't get it. It's your business and it is what will get you paid.
You have to invest money to make money right? This is probably the cheapest business to get started and thanks to WA, we all can benefit from it. So what about the domain name?
Free VS Paid
Don't get me wrong, the free Siterubix are a great way to get started and is already worth the money. As an online marketer however, you want to worry about other things.
- Branding yourself
- Flexibility
- Customization
- Selling the domain
This all can be done with the free Siterubix sites, but you want to invest into something you actually own.
Goodbye Godaddy!
I used to get my domains with Godaddy for $1, but I ended up paying for it the following year because their renewal fees are insane!
WA has now added domains (which I absolutely love) and you really don't need to go anywhere else.
So on top of all the training, support, and website hosting, you can now get domains right here on the WA site.
Why WA Domains Rock
I know it can sound a bit pricey in the beginning, but you are actually saving in the long run.
Along with the savings, you also get site security and personal email. If you were to get these separately with another domain provider, you will pay a lot more than $13.
Site security is a big deal and I really hated paying for them when I didn't feel confident with Godaddy's service.
Now, I have all my sites hosted here and I know there is a solid team working in the background that will keep everything running smoothly.
The moral of the story is...Get your own domain! lol

I really didnt know it was that important, but, ok, guess I will do this. But, maybe not right now. I just got started on this not long ago, on Lesson 8. I try to work on this as much as possible, but I also work with my husband, and we have been out of town lately working. So, think we will be working here in town now, and I can get back to business! Not so much that it's important Tam, but it just works better. You own the domain, you can brand yourself, and it also becomes apart of you. But yes, keep training and don't worry so much about purchasing one. I just wanted to share that domain names are not at all expensive and you can get them for 99 cents. If you need help with this, just let me know and I'll show you where to get them.

I just don't get this $127 for the second year thing. I have about a dozen domains with GoDaddy and have had them for years. All of them are $10 to $15 a year. Remember .org or .info domains are just as good and they aren't even that expensive.

Very well put. Everyone has to put a value on what they want from joining WA whether as a free member or premium. You have to invest in yourself both time and money.
This is a very small investment compared to a physical business and the ROI will beat any small business. I have ran a bar and my online business still does better, lol. I mean $.99 for a domain name?
