Don't ask me why I chose that headline. The Muse I guess. Bait and Switch.

I apologize for all the posts, replies and follows not made. I don't want anyone to think I don't appreciate the likes, follows, and support.

Maybe it is counter intuitive but I feel a little reticent at this time to get the following so big that I can't do it justice or keep up. I try to at least read all the blogs that pop up in the inbox. There is a ton of good information put out. I keep thinking That was really good stuff. I should save it so I can come back to it later when I am more readier. A lot of the information is still over my head. My long range plan is to come back later to make friends and influnce people.

I do feel like I am progressing, but very slowly. I don't want to move on in the lessons to check it off until I have actually done it, so I have been through some of them a few times because I haven't done it yet and can't focus enough attention.

Dumb it down.

What seems to help most is when someone posts something I am ready to hear and use.

All the posts about encouragement and positive thinking or not quitting, while often very good, I "like" and/or comment but you can't take the mutual admiration society to the bank.

I am in awe actually with those of you who can keep up with posting so regularly. I have hard time composing a good paragraph, not to mention 500 -1000 word blog that might be relevant or useful to someone here at WA.

I have managed to make a few website pages and a ton of notes for future reference. But doing the research and writing useful content, and finding and processing images, etc. takes time and focus which is at a premium right now.

There is a lot of difference between a head full of random ideas and possibilities and actually being able to organize research, jaxxy and write them out. It might not be the most helpful and positive thing to compare myself to other sites in my niche who seem to be doing what I want to do a lot better than I can now, but I keep reading a few of them to learn and get a better idea how I might incorporate into my program.

I really like the WA format for asking questions and I have always gotten good helpful input whenever I could progress enough to know what I needed to know. There is a saying When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Nowhere is that any more true than here at WA.

I am kind of teacher, helper, explainer type myself so I can appreciate those of you who do that here. I know that there are a lot of WA members who are far enough along to experience a little (or a lot) of success already and it is obvious to them when someone is struggling to grasp the (simple) concepts and apply them. It is simple when you know how and very frustrating sometimes when you don't quite get it yet. I'm sure a lot of what I have read and "learned" will come back to me when I am ready for it.

I like it in simple steps like going through the training modules. What I have learned here already makes it a lot easier to see through the hype and BS of a lot of the other Affiliate programs. They might even be good programs, (some of them) but only if you already know enough to not need them. All the FOMO and DFY is more of a distraction that I don't need.

I guess what I am getting at, laboriously, is that if I can stay focused on what I want to do and allow the specifics to manifest gradually it will happen. And before long, or eventually, I will begin to at least know what I need to know or how to figure it out.

I am looking forward to that defining moment when my success becomes a certainty and not just a possibility. I am certain that now I am in the right place to make that happen. I believe there are a lot of others here who feel the same.

You are wise to finish a lesson completely before moving on. It's all designed to build a complete structure, so don't miss an important piece!

The writing and research will get easier, the more you do. Hang on to those good ideas. Perhaps start a notebook where you can jot them down. Also a list of the things you want to learn is helpful. I love making lists -- they make me feel like I have accomplished something. Writing it down brings it closer to reality.

Write a list so you can forget it, not so you can remember it. Just remember to look at the list occasionally.

Great post-John, like all WA members, everything seems a bit confusing at first before it begins to gel. Eventually, you build that website and attain your first affiliate and things begin to make better sense. WA is a terrific foundation of education, and assistant, you will never find yourself alone.
