Kyle's Genius

I was listening to a tutorial by Kyle that I ran across on Facebook that I found very timely.

He was talking about his recommendation to not start more websites before you have one working to satisfaction.

I keep having these brilliant ideas about other niches and other websites, some even for other people (which btw was one of the reasons I joined WA in the first place)

I determined he was right on. It would not be a good idea for me to dilute my attention or get distracted before I have finished the training and got my ONE main site down pat with all the plugin's widgets and affiliate links working and profitable.

In that tutorial he mentioned that Wordpress has over 50,000 available plugins. Wow. The point is we can customize to our hearts content. But that only makes sense when you know exactly what you want and need.

This Wealthy Affiliate system works. Surprisingly well. It is plain to me that all anyone needs to do to be successful here is follow the system and do what Kyle says.

The biggest problem that I have here is that it is too easy to do busywork and waste time just because it is so much fun.

I have said before that I often read the one star reviews because I'm interested in what people say who are not so impressed with a product and why they are not. For sure, you need to take that with a grain of salt as well as a lot of the Five Stars, because the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. I give WA Five Stars.

But having said that first, I read a comment on Facebook on one of the WA adds that went to the effect: "Yeah, the always busy, but never money program." I could relate to that, although I believe it says more about that person than it does about WA.

I just need to take to heart NOT to be that person.

So my New Year resolution is to say less and do more. And not just here at WA but my whole life in general.
