Blogging or Training. There is a difference.

Lately I have noticed a few blogs that are from people concerned about what others are blogging.

So I thought it mIght be prudent to discuss some rules around this.

So I decided to start with the rules set by Kyle and Carson. Now these rules repeat some aspects of blogging so I've summarized them below.

WA BLOGGING RULES:

These are a summary of the list provided by Kyle.

1). No unsolicited messages promoting products.

2). No Copied Content from either outside or within WA.

No promotions on chat or in comments. Including product reviews.

3). No Adding Affiliate links.

4). Don't add anything Niche specific in blogs or comments.

5). No external website links.

6). No soliciting phone numbers or asking others for phone numbers.

7. Don't ask for personal contact information.

8. No inappropriate Adult Content.

9. No fund Raising

10. No Click bait.

So, that is a summary of what was listed. You can have a closer look at these rules by clicking on the following link.

NOWHERE DOES IT SAY.. DON'T HAVE ANY FUN!!

This is what Kyle says next.

"We are Flexible on every other aspect of WA other than Spam"

Why Am I telling you this?...

I have noticed that some people seem to think that the blogs should be used as a means to only impart some serious knowledge.

No Doing this and No doing that.... etc., etc.,

This isn't Training!

Training needs to be focused solely on improving business aspects of affiliate marketing.

There's no room in training for comedy or the use of proverbs or lighthearted conversation, it's all based on educating people.

Training needs to be serious and taken seriously.

NOT SO BLOGGING AT WA.

Blogging here is for telling others about your journey at WA, or other journeys you've experienced.

It's about having a bit of fun, but you can be serious if you want.

It's about making friends, and building on that friendship.

I have worked hard for much of my life, if I wanted total seriousness and inflexibility I would have stayed in the Banking industry.

So, go out there and blog to your hearts content. Just be aware of the rules.

All The Best. Jim

Thanks Jim, you have put a lot of things in the right perspective for me. We must all be singing from the same hymn sheet for it all to work in the way it was intended.

As you know, I am very new to WA and I have been a bit confused by some things I have read (it doesn't take much some days!), which seem to be out on a limb compared to the majority. On a couple of occasions I have thought it is my lack of knowledge, which is the cause of the confusion, but maybe not.

I agree we all should use the platform for its intended use, this is a part of the reason it works. Almost like the safety in numbers theory or the way group therapy works (although we want a different result!). The strength of a number of people interested in the same outcome is phenomenal and should not be underestimated or abused in my opinion.

Thanks again,
Rob

Thanks Rob.

Thanks for highlighting the rules!

Thank you

I totally agree. People should be able to post what they want so is avid blog readers have a good selection.

It all depends what kind of mood I’m in. I got so bogged down with the amount of blogs on here, I went through everyone in my network and regular bloggers and split them into different categories on my notes my iPhone (not a promotion or affiliate link 🤣🤣🤣) my categories are.....
- fun (people who make me laugh or have a bit more fun content)
- motivational
- training
- deep learning/controversial

I have a top 5 under each and rotate through them depending on how I feel! I’m probably a 2/3 blog a day reader.

Just an idea!
Colin

That sounds like a fantastic astic idea Colin. I might steal it. Jim

Yes indeed Jim, nicely put. Every now and then I see a comment, or have had a comment, that has a little 'subtext'. It's more irksome when I see it aimed at newer members. Reminds me of boarding school when the higher years tried to get you to so something for them because they were 'above' you. Yeah, that didn't last long.

Great analogy Twack.

Hi Jim,

I totally agree with you.

This platform is giving us an opportunity that is absolutely true in all sense. Its providing us an avenue to realize our dreams, to actually make it happen.

Let's use it according to its intended purpose. Internet is full of craps, with deceiving online users. But just look at WA, is it deceiving us? I don't think so.

I am actually seeing the fruits of labor. All we have to do encourage one and another through how we blog or comment. If you think that this is a website where you are here to have fun, I bet you're in the wrong community. You might as well pack up and leave.

We all are professionals in our own right and by being in here, we are to educate each other, encourage each other and support each other as we all go along together.

Anyway Jim thank you for pointing this out as I have also noticed this. It's good you've pointed it out so this can drive good thoughts into each and everyone of us who are part of this wonderful community.

Cheers Man!

Thank you Jasper.

You are welcome Jim,

Thanks Jim.

Thanks Marvin

Yes I’ve noticed a few opinionated people recently making unnecessary comments on the blogs of others.
If you pay the premium membership fee then you can blog about anything you like. It’s entirely up to us to choose what we read

Thank you Dave. I'm glad to hear there are people that agree with me. Jim

Right on the dot, Jim.
Totally agree with you.

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

Thanks for the sharing.
All the best to you, Jim and cheers. :-)

Thanks KL.

As a newbie Jim thanks for the information

Thank you Gary.

Thank you Jim for the nice summary.

Carol

My pleasure Carol
