Blazing a Trail With Bo Tipton
Onward and upward with Bo Tiptons guidance!
The reason I decided to title this blog Blazing a trail is that Bo called us trail blazers. Bo is truly the trail blazer, we are going to feed the flames and clear the way for others. We thank him for his true pay it forward attitude and vision.
Today was the first weekly meeting with Bo and he outlined his goals to help a group of us to become more successful and make $1000 more a month consistently. He is committed to guide us with his experience as well as the many tools at our disposal here at Wealthy Affiliate.
This group will be followed by others who will follow what we are doing now. His hopes that we will help others the same way, this could include you.
Many things were covered in our meeting
Some main points discussed was that we are running a business and we need to run it as such. We have to have a set schedule (20 hrs a wk min.). Consistency, Quality content and commitment is a key to success in all aspects of what we do.
Set a schedule and stick with it as much as possible. We all have different demands on us but if you stay to your schedule as much as possible as it becomes routine it will become much easier.
Quality content should be relevant to your blogs, posts and pages. Adding value to your readers should be your #1 goal, Do Not add content just to add content and use shorter paragraphs ( a few sentences). Be sure to properly monetize your blogs, if you blog about dog toys don't use an affiliate link for a cat store.
Study successful blogs and their structure. You will notice they have a standard as below.
- State what the problem is your addressing.
- State the solution
- Tell them the benefits for them
- Tell them what you want them to do (call to action)
Competition should be put out of your mind when writing. Be natural in your writing, we are all different and have different views. This is your Unique Selling Point, it will serve you well.
Subscribers / mailing list generate approximately 25 cents a month per person. Use a plug in to come up for reader to subscribe, add your posts to your social media and watch your business grow.

Things are off to a good start! I am really looking forward to seeing the results that everyone gets.
The WA community is already an incredibly supportive, caring group, but by the simple fact that we will be working more closely together, I have a feeling that this groups is going to develop a "no man left behind" attitude toward helping one another.
