The Compassion of the People of WA
To My Dear True Friends of WA,
You never cease to amaze me.
The compassion of the people of WA never ceases to astonish me.
Thank You so much for all of your staggering responses of sensitive compassion and thoughtfulness on my most recent post “A Guardian Angel is Watching Over Me”
I am deeply moved by so much love and affection.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for your caring and concern. I received so many “.I’m so relieved you’re okay” and “thankful you are SAFE” comments and well-wishes from my Great WA friends here
As a testament to your caring, my most recent post “A Guardian Angel is Watching Over Me” went to No. 2 in less than 6 hours.
I am completely blown away!
My Photo Editorial Thank You
As a byproduct of the aftermath of my near-death experience, many of you even commented on that post they enjoyed some of the photos I shared of NYC.
Therefore as my own personal “Thank You” to everyone, I thought I would take this opportunity to share additional wonderful photos of places in my neighborhood “Chelsea” - and as a special treat some other FABULOUS “off the beaten path” HIDDEN GEM neighborhoods within the outer boroughs of New York City that we love to visit for a day!
Here are some photos of great attractions within my neighborhood - the fantastic eclectic community culture of Chelsea (in Manhattan), containing a classic mix of old and new architecture, great art galleries, the Highline, Chelsea Market, just to name a few.
(Note: Btw, the above photo is a view from the Highline at 17th Street in Chelsea, where pedestrians can sit directly above street level.)
Here is Chelsea Market, an amazing international market where "tribes from all of the world" congregate for great food from all over the world and fine shopping.
First come inside the bustling Chelsea Market, where beautiful people, delectable international delicacies, and an industrial motiff converge.
Outside you can see the old railway-converted into an elevated city urban park "The Highline" conjoins with exterior shops of Chelsea Market on 10th Ave.
Rise above the street level of Chelsea Market, and here is the world-famous Highline, a almost truly one-of-a-kind urban elevated park that stretches 30 feet above street level for 1.75 miles in Manahattan.
Here is the view of the Highline viewing east from Zaha Hadid's new curved condo complex.
Here is the cantilevered Standard Boutique Hotel, that straddles the Highline at west 14th Street, heading toward the Whitney Museum.
Here is a street in Chelsea around the corner from where I live.
OMG, I want to continue this but I'm late for an appointment I have to RUN!
Seriously!
I have MANY more great photos to share, and I just decided in the interest of time I will share these in Part 2 coming up shortly.
Enjoy these for now!
Gotta RUN now, see you soon my friends!!
Cheers,
Kaju
