EMOTIONAL Day 6, Kaju's Keynote Report
They say slow and steady wins the race, and will reap one great rewards. These slow and steady acts can also make one very emotional.
Until tonight the best way I could describe my progress this week would be consistent yet uneventful.
Nothing earth-shattering happened for me, despite some good summer partying and rooftop BBQ’ing for the July 4th Holidays, I’d been doing my usual consistent work every day making steady progress.
And then all at once, it became emotional.
So here is my Emotional Day 6, Kaju’s Keynote Progress Report.
Conclusions:
- The New 9/11 movie
- My websites and landing pages
- My social media experiments i.e. Instagram and Pinterest
ACCOMPLSHMENTS that happened for “Day 6”:
- First meeting with the film project team to discuss the plot of the new 911 movie
- Immersed myself in the emotions and imagination of the 9/11 movie (details below)
- Studied the tutorials and dashboard for my new WP themes
- Continued preliminary build of my new type-MMO niche website
- Began mapping out details for a new sales funnel
- Posted a new Instagram Story while maintaining my daily IG posting schedule
My Deep Emotions at the Burial Site
The city was dark and eerily very quiet for a Friday night.
Conjuring up my full emotions and imagination, tonight I made a conscious decision to get closer to my work by placing myself in the realm of a method actor.
So to completely immerse myself in the milieu of the movie, I felt compelled to do something I never considered ever before. Certainly an impromptu decision.
Tonight I visited the 9/11 site grounds, which included the North and South "Reflecting Absence" Pools and Waterfalls, the 9/11 Memorial Museum, the Survivor Tree, One World Trade Center, and Oculus.
As I walked around these sacred burial grounds LATE AT NIGHT I must say I felt deeply emotional and conflicted.
Simultaneously walking this sacred site IN THE QUIET DEAD OF NIGHT brought out new emotions for me. It was the mixture of seeing the remarkable work accomplished standing before me that elicited awe-inspiring wonder, seeing the “Survivor Tree” as a symbol of survival vs. all the odds, beautiful visions of the 9/11 victim’s family names etched in the onyx marble surrounding the pools, and the vivid stories of people dear to me from the past brought out moments of heart-wrenching sadness.
Reflecting deeply upon the realization I was standing upon this hallowed burial ground in front of the 9/11 pool, for a brief moment I almost broke down.
Gathering myself together, my “fight or flight response” kicked in and I quickly picked myself up, but now with a much greater understanding and empathy toward the characters in the movie.
Life goes on. I swiftly left the site though Oculus, boarded the A train and was soon home.
Some Final Points
Moving forward, here are some final points:
- I will continue to work on the 9/11 movie site and my niche sites in lockstep
- 70% of my time will continue to be dedicated to the 9/11 site, while 30% of my time will be dedicated to my niche site, MMO site, and other blogging activities.
One of the positive moments of the week unexpectedly occurred last Tuesday during the John Hariri Summer party while I was riding on the “carousel” where I recorded a new live Instagram story. The IG story came out great!
This has once again inspired me to complete my “Instagram Stories” training. So I promise this time folks, it is coming!
Onward and Upwards, Ladies and Gents.
Remember, always keep taking ACTIONS and focus on the most important RIGHT actions to take that will bring success to your business today. And then go, “5.4.3.2.1”!

You took a very thorough approach to your 9/11 project, Kaju. Trying to re-feel the events by Immersing yourself in the milieu of the setting is certainly the best way to do the theme justice. I'm sure the outcome will reflect this thoroughness.
I just wonder how you still find enough time for everything else.
That's true Sammy, it was all intentional me to to immerse myself in the moment at night, when it was quiet and dark, and I almost lost myself. But I took on the role of a method actor.
Acts such as these will make our story so much more thorough and authentic. Thanks for that acknowledgement.

Thank you for sharing your experience Kaju. I remember the first time we saw the memorial and it was a moving experience for us too. I remember when it happened my then 5 year old son coming into our room in the morning here in New Zealand saying he was watching the planes flying into the buildings. Of course we jumped out of bed to see what he was talking about and to our horror saw what had happened.
It truly changed the world. I look forward to seeing the movie and know it will represent the full emotion the world felt on that day.

Going there in the dark dead of night was a surreal experience David. It is beyond words.

Hi Kaju, Even in a different country 1000's of miles away, I vividly remember the "breaking news" flash up on the TV, it was about 11pm here, there was almost no verbal report as they had no idea what had happened. As I watched the visuals, which they played over and over, I watched the second plane go into the tower and watched the buildings collapse LIVE as it happened, I cannot describe what I felt. I cannot imagine what a native New Yorker, who probably knew someone, or knew of someone who was affected by this tragedy, would feel standing at this beautiful memorial, in the dark of night. The emotion would have been beyond overwhelming. I think it is an honour for you to be associated with this project, which will no doubt pay tribute, to those that lost their lives, those that lost loved ones, and the heroes that risked their lives. I know you will do a great job.

Oh, Kaju, what a deeply moving experience that must have been. Can any of us ever forget that day...but perhaps there was a reason for you to go through this.
It helps you to reconnect to the sheer emotional drama that took place on 9/11. It's as if you were drawn there, to this sacred place, to help you with your creation of the site. You were right to go visit and allow yourself to feel those emotions.
Today, you can continue with your work and rejoice in life, realizing how tenuous it really is and how we should cherish it.

Yes no doubt I couldn't have said it better C & P, Thank You. Today I rejoiced in life, went to a concert and out all day; last night I intentionally placed myself at the scene under different circumstances. And I did get close to it, the sheer emotional drama and it was very tough.
Today was a beautiful day indeed, and I will cherish every moment.
Morning Kaju, I have just read this with tears in my eyes imagining you standing there at night on your own and I know that I felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise. You must have had a hundred different emotions going through you at that point.
I know I would have broke down and I wasn't even there.

9/11... I'll never forget where I was that day, or how I felt when I heard and then saw these tragic events take place right before all of our eyes.
I've never been to the memorials. But I would love to. Someday!!
