Are you a Starbucks Fan?
Today I went to Starbucks in San Salvador to celebrate the start of my vacation with a cup of coffee. I asked the Barrista which is the most popular coffee that they sell. He told me that is the "Frap Moccok" so I said OK but without asking the price.
This is the Coffee Cup. :)
I enjoyed the coffee for about 30 minutes while I was chatting at WA.
When I saw the bill for that coffee, I got a surprise. How much did that cup of coffee cost me? $4.65! You need proof? Here the proof!
:
But at the same time I asked myself, how many cup of coffee at Starbucks does someone buy in a week? I asked the Barrista and it's 2 - 4 times in a week. OK, this data is only for El Salvador!
I did the maths and just for one person who spends money at Starbucks:
Weekly: $4.65 x 2 = $9.30 or $4.65 x 4 = $18.60
Monthly: $9.30 x 4 weeks = $37.20 or $18.60 x 4 weeks = $74.40
Yearly: $9.30 x 52 weeks = $483.6 or $18.60 x 52 weeks = $967.2
BOOM! $483.6 to $967.2 on a year on Starbucks. In my personal opinion their coffee is not that good. I'd prefer to brew coffee in my house. :)
I thought, with that money someone spends on coffee in a month or year, they could invest in learning how to create their own online business.
Now, tell me, how long does someone enjoy a cup of coffee? Maybe 10 min, 20 or even 30 minutes?
Learning to set up your own business at WA is much cheaper than a cup of Starbucks coffee!
If you breakdown the monthly fee even at the current price of $ 47.00 / 30 days = $1.56 per day but being an annual membership is $ 359.00/365 days = just 98¢ a day!
So each cup of coffee here in El Salvador costs around 4 days of learning here at WA. What?! Yes! I get 4 days training for the price of a coffee. I asked you how much you enjoy your coffee! I just enjoyed just 20 min! What a waste of time and money drinking coffee.
If you take into account what someone spends in a year just drinking a cup of coffee at Starbucks every day during the week it's over $1000 vs. $ 359.00 per year here at WA learning how to create an online business. In my view I stay in WA without a doubt.
My recommendation for Starter and Monthly Members
Starter Members:
If you are a Starter Member my recommendation is that do you have your priorities right? I mean it is more important to drink a cup of coffee instead of creating your own business?
You should have a budget if you want to take make a career in Internet Marketing. If you want to read more on this, I recommend you look at this blog: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wa-affiliate-program/can-anyone-actually-afford-premium
Monthly Members:
I know you have made the right decision to become a Premium Members. But my challenge is, isn't it better to switch to annual membership and get costs down to $29 per month?
Make a budget to help you to see which ways you are just wasting your money! Take action and invest your money in the best way.
Now tell me. Are you still a Starbucks fan? I'd love you to comment.
Thanks
Jorge

Aw that's the reason we Called you *El loco Jeff* :P. It's the reason you are very hyperactive in the chat *sigh*
I love Starbucks coffee, I do not buy Starbucks coffee. I just smell it and pretend! When I can buy a dinner for close to the same price, I prefer to make that choice
LOL. I love that *smell it and pretend*. Well said.
Exactly you are right Taking the best decision. :)
Hm. Maybe I'll try that. Stand outside Starbucks every day an smell the air when the door opens :)
I printed this article to show to my friend who is addicted to Starbucks. Can't work without first stopping for her daily fix at Starbucks. Starbucks is so overrated. Maybe she'll believe me now. Save your money and invest wisely in your future.
Hey Chris. Thanks for commenting and printing my blog. :)
I know I have a lot of friends here in El Salvador they go every day to take a cup of coffee in Starbucks. They are just simple wasting their money
Great points you make here, Jorge. I've never even tried Starbucks although we actually do have one that isn't too far of a drive from where I live. When I seen the prices for the coffee there, I figured I just couldn't justify paying that much for one cup of coffee. I have better things to spend my money on and besides, I can always go home and make some coffee.
Guess, I've always been brought up to buy things wisely and save up my money for something I really wanted or needed. That's what I'm trying to do now is save or make enough money for an annual membership here.
I am agree with you Sherry.! People tend to waste their money in simple things insted of brewing in their own houses. I saw a lot of people just making exucuses in try to learn something new.

Very well said. I have a friend who can't afford to spend money on premium because he spends all his money on drinking and partying. Oh..ok then.
Oh Thanks for Sharing this Dom!. A great Example of people that doesn't want to Invest in their own learning. If those people just save just 1 dolar every day they can afford to premium. It's just priorities!.
Thanks Dom. :)
