There's a thing called GOOGLE!
Hey fellow WA friends,
Today I want to share with you something really really basic yet powerful.
But it's often neglected or underestimated by many people.
And this applies to literally EVERYTHING you do, not just your website, your affiliate marketing business...
So I often get a lot of messages from people asking me about this, about that...
First of all, I want to say that I am willing and happy to help if you have any questions.
But there are just too many people asking questions that can be VERY EASILY solved by simply typing your question in Google.
Again, I'm not writing this post to nag or complain. But I really want everyone of you reading this post to learn this ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING and that is...
BE RESOURCEFUL!
If you want to succeed or achieve the results, the goals you desire, honestly speaking, you gotta be resourceful.
I'm not saying you can't ask questions inside Wealthy Affiliate or ask me questions personally. We are all here to help. So feel free to ask.
But in order for YOURSELF to achieve the next level in your business and in your life, you also need to learn how to be resourceful.
That's why I said this doesn't just apply to online business. It can be applied to everything in life.
When poor/unsuccessful people encounter a problem, their first reaction is to whine, complain, etc.
But when successful people encounter a problem, their first reaction is thinking about HOW to solve the problem.
If they can't solve the problem themselves, they don't stop there. They start finding the right people, the right system, the right solution, that can solve the problem for them. That's being resourceful.
For me personally, I encounter problems every single day.
For example, I started building my own course, I started using ClickFunnels, EverWebinar, Facebook Ads and many many other things.
But I'm not a tech guy.
If you've tried any of that, you'll know there are a lot of technical details that need to be setup in place in order for everything to work. It's not as simple as what other marketers are saying who are trying to sell you something.
And Google is my best friend. Even though I'm not a tech guy, over 90% of the problems already have solutions out there on Google.
If I submit a support ticket every single time when I encounter a problem, it'll take me years for me to get everything set up the way I want it to be.
For those stuff that's just out of my technical ability, I outsourced it. I hire the right "WHO" to help me get it done.
And that's the same for you as well.
Google has most of the answers you are looking for. And it doesn't require you to have any technical skills to use Google, right?
So next time when you encounter any problems, regardless if it's about your website, your online business, your life or anything...
Just GOOGLE IT!
That's the most efficient way for you to find your answers and move on.
Of course, if you can't find the answer you want, then continue to be resourceful. Go and find the right "WHO" to help you, ask the right person, ask the right community. And that's what Wealthy Affiliate is for.
Wealthy Affiliate is to help and support you but WA is not Google, nor is it God.
So let me repeat myself again...BE RESOURCEFUL. Do your best to find the right method, system, or the right person and get your stuff done!
Hope this helps.
Remember...
Google It!

Hi Jerry
Well said. I've been trying to get this message through to people that ask questions on our local community site that could be easily answered by Google. Jim
When we put our own effort into find out something, to learn something, we most likely will remember that forever.
Whereas getting the mere answer from friend means that we easily can forget that soon.
I do agree with you Jerry,
Being initiative and resourceful is advantageous to all of us.
Of course when we run out of the options, then we seek the help “externally” :)
Well said! I have been guilty of asking a question and then realized I could find the answer on Google! Smart words sir, most definitely being resourceful helps us to better ourselves and to become more confident! Thank you again!
Robert

He knew what he wanted to achieve, but had absolutely know Idea or skills to develop the idea into reality. He did just that... Went out and found the who's he needed and then gave birth to FORD...

Absolutely agree Jerry. As you say, we are also happy to answer questions anytime but when some of the questions here, on Quora and other platforms are so basic it does get a bit annoying!!
Just a little bit of thinking outside the box and doing a bit of due diligence usually brings the answer.
Yup!
