More Ambassadors At WA?

Aloha Guys!

Since a few days, a burning question is quite a bit occupying my mind so I really need to share it with you and see what you think.

Would it be beneficial to our community to have more Ambassadors? We are limited right now to 25 ambassadors in a community of 1.5 Million members. Not all are active, I know. There are probably stats about it and we could know it in detail. But for now, I will consider about 30K active member only.

I saw excellent helpers coming up under the 25 and getting down again after a short while cause they couldn't afford the time. They burned out.

I wanted to become an ambassador too. But at the beginning of this year, I decided not to.

Being a helper is not clicking here and there and leave a footprint on many questions and blogs. It means really investing time! When I was helping with certain issues it could happen that I accomplish only a little for myself. Being an ambassador is a big responsibility!

I'm pretty sure that we could triple or quadruple the number of ambassadors and they still would have more than enough to help.

What do you think? Please, share your opinion!!

Thank you all for being a part of this my journey! Thank you for your help and support!
Sending Love and Light!

Aloha, Jenna

I think, which is never a good thing, start again. The top 25, actually the top 22 is hard to break into. Time, dedication, sacrifice and a willingness to help by going the extra mile are all key elements. Maybe recognition for attaining that level should be more 'longstanding', like a badge that stays on your profile forever, whether or not you stay in the top 25. Or, even you want to take that further, if you reach Ambassador level you hold that 'status' for however long you stay in the the top 100, you could have a different colour to your number to denote that you've achieved Ambassador status.

I find this is an awesome idea, Twack!
I like it very much!
Thank you!

As one who just recently made Ambassador and is constantly teetering on the edge, I can say it's a lot of hard work to stay on the list. And I, too, have often wondered if it wouldn't make more sense to have the line at, say, 50 Ambassadors instead, just due to the sheer size of the community.

Having said that, however, I feel I should share my own particular experience...

I wrote a post last year called Chasing the Dragon where I laid out how obsessed with becoming an Ambassador I had become, to the extent that I was beginning to neglect my family and other duties.

I made the decision at that time that I was no longer going to deliberately go after it. I would just log in whenever I could, help as many people as I could, and then just let the chips fall where they may. I really didn't even pay attention to my rank most of the time.

You can imagine my surprise, then, when I received the Welcome letter from Kyle about achieving it. It was not something I was intentionally pursuing, and it just happened naturally.

I suppose my point is it really doesn't matter where they draw the line. 25. 50. 100. Even 200. As long as we are good stewards and helping others achieve their dreams, everything will work out. To share the vision statement from my site, quoting the late, great Zig Ziglar:

"You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want."

Take care :-)

Thank you, AJ!
This is a great experience you shared and I see lots of learning and growing in that process!

Thank you! You too!!!

I think the number is okay as it is. But I agree with Joe. That Kyle, Carson, and Jay should be in their own category.

Thank you, Mickey!!

I think in time we may need more ambassadors, but with such an active helpful community 25 seems to be working.

Keeping the numbers the way they are makes the Ambassador level exclusive and more meaningful.

Thank you, Glen! I appreciate it!

Reading with interest. I imagine that as time and this program progresses the numbers will change.

Things evolve with time.

There used to be just 10 Ambassadors and only a [Top 100]
Now there are 25 Ambassadors and also a [Top 200]

... ( just a thought: 3 Spots ‘could be’ freed-up, by Moving Kyle, Carson, and Jay Up into a different category .. thus opening up 3 more “Ambassador Spaces” .. just brainstorming .. heh!!)

Just an observation

Regards

Joe

Thank you, Joe!
I'm looking past the evolution. I'm looking to the revolution ;-)

I will see how much attention by the community this topic get and in case there is attention, I will send Kyle and Carson the link of this post and see what they think.

Thank you for your support!

You have a good idea. I've wondered myself if 25 was enough, as there is certainly plenty of opportunity to help folks out. Maybe it should be 50.

Yes, Fran! I would go even up to 100.
Sending much Love and Light!

Ask Carson and Kyle. They run this platform. I hope they see your post about this. I feel like the owners established the system to work that way since its inception of WA.

This is a good idea, Brenda.
I will send them the link to this post.

Logical thought, Jenna.

Thank you, Anusuya!
In Germany I worked as a life coach and trainer. I more intense settings you shouldn't work with more than 9 person.
This is of course not a good comparison. But to get those dimensions. We are here many many learning ladies and guys!
