Wonderful Winter Wonderland Wandering!

Hello everyone--on the latest Christmas Day, earlier than usual and by various means, I discovered that it had in fact snowed.

Monica called me while I was warming the truck up and we chatted for about 30 minutes. She was telling me what the plans her with Christmas, and it didn't sound too exciting.

The snow turned out to be the best of both worlds though because none of the roads were affected--at least for Christmas day! As for the rest of the week, the temps will be low, so some fires will have to be lit a few times this week, but that's alright.

I decided to leave for Ron's about 30 minutes earlier than I was going to just in case.

He lives 20 miles from me as the crow flies, heading west in Interstate 70.

It turns out that I had not needed to because the highway was clear, so were the roads in my town and his town. That is his spread above.

I got some things accomplished there that he told me I could take care of, and it wasn't long before he and I were downstairs prepping for the upcoming Chief's Football game, while his son Travis was upstairs with his mother prepping for the meal to be served after the game was over.

Midway through the game the other two guests showed up, and we all watched to the bitter end of a game that though the score was close, the Chiefs were just not in sync.

Oh well, the real reason we came was to celebrate Christmas, realize the true meaning of it, and share some good food with family and friends, and that was definitely accomplished.

The final series of images was of final meal prep and everyone getting ready to sit down and enjoy it.

Everyone gathering for the meal..

This was my plate:

I managed to get it all down, but the meat was almost 3/4 inches thick.

We also had a first course of onion soup, and that was delicious too.

All in all, it was another Great Christmas outing. Then is was time for me to get back home while there was daylight.

I worked some on the computer in the evening, and basically watched some more Christmas classic movies, but I also managed to get this short post out, as well!

I reached out to Monica earlier in the evening, and she must have called back, even though the phone showed missed calls, so it must have been under the pillow while I was watching one movie.

Oh well, I'll talk to her another time, I guess. I didn't hear from my Mom because it was probably busy for her up in Alaska! I might hear from her tomorrow!

I Hope Everyone enjoyed their safe and successful Christmas Celebrations.

Very nice Christmas spent with Friends Jeffoi!

So White Christmas indeed came! (Not in my area though) Although it is really brisky!!!

You didn’t finish your 3/4”-thick meat Jeffoi? Maybe it’s because you have been chowing down your cookies! You’re supposed to get into the house with an empty stomach and big appetite!

Cheers,
MariaπŸŽ„

I think so too, Marioi!

Our snow will likely remain for the rest of the week! We are still below freezing, but the fireplace is going, and I am still eating your delicious cookies! I will advertise for those if you go pro with those!

Even with chowing down on your cookies, I finished that Prime Rib!

I went there, and ate to my heart's content!

Jeffoi

Hahahaha! You will get a lifetime supply of that delicious cookies Jeffoi if I venture into that!

So far I have 3 websites to maintain, so I am resolved on those 3!

Now THAT would be awesome, Marioi!

Sounds like you are doing very well!

Jeffoi

I was overwhelmed at first!
Was not planning to take 3 websites! Initially, I was mastering on one. Then Kyle offered the MMO special, and I took it! Then some one offered to have their resort in the Philippines, and made me my own business cards and flyers. I didn’t take anything from it, but posted my flyers in Facebook, which took 2 people to reserve travel through it. So now I started the 3rd website- my travel blog!

And with AI β€˜s help, I was able to post on a regular basis!

Cheers,
Maria πŸŽ„

Wow, Marioi! Very well done!

Jeffoi

Thank you Jeffoi! That is why I need AI!!!

I don't need AI, Marioi, but okay!

Jeff

I know you don’t! But I do Jeffoi!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

Haha, Marioi! That is fine with me!

That's a beautiful picture of the snow on the tree; it's always so pretty as long as I don't have to get out in it.

I love prime rib, that sure looks delicious. Unfortunately, I have been sick all weekend and haven't been out of the house since Friday. My Christmas dinner was a can of soup.

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas. Good friends, good food and good times, you can't beat that. πŸ™‚

I feel the exact same way, Cynthia!

I haven't looked outside today, but according to Monica, the streets are white! I will be staying put for now!

I'm sorry to hear that, Cynthia! I hope you get better very soon!

Jeff πŸ™

Can't believe you had snow! We are still in the 50s and yesterday we had sun!
Just too bad that people don't light up their houses like they used to. But I don't make the effort either, anymore.
So glad you had a family Christmas with Ron.
Merry boxing day!
Corinne

I quit making the effort a long time ago too, Corinne! A lot of people around here still do though!

Ron is my best friend from the Army days, and he always delivers!

No boxing days here, but that's fine with me!

Enjoy your new week!

Jeff

Well at least you had a partially White Christmas, Jeff.

Is that a pot roast? I see shades of pink in there, which tells me that meat was tender.

Speaking of classic movies, my Dad and I watched "A Christmas Carol" and "Miracle on 34th Street" last night! 😎🐢🐱🐢 πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

Isaiah πŸ™‚

It was a white Christmas, Isaiah, but on that day, at least it wasn't all over the roads! Today, I believe that it is! πŸ₯ΆπŸΆπŸ˜ΉπŸΆ

I watched the same ones, Isaiah!

Happy Tuesday!
