Superb Sunny Shivery Saturday Sojourns Seem Successful!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Today's weather was night and day from yesterday torrid, cloud-covered affair! Ironically, the temperatures were colder though. In fact, it was in the high 20s (Fahrenheit) when the title image was taken!
My morning began with coffee and a brisk run into the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
Faithful Kitty was at my side for most of this, and in fact, she seemed to accompany me to the computer every time I was on it! She is definitely not on a SacCATical like her feline counterpart, Tig-Tig at the house has been for many, many months!
The image above is courtesy of faithful stepdaughter, Samantha! She also sent an image of Shadow the Blog Dog enjoying some chill air before the Sun made its appearance for the day!
I assume that his sister, Star is inside the house where it was warmer!
Then the sun was out in full at the eBay house, my current temporary residence! (at least, I hope!)
It caused me to get motivated and go get some junk from the back yard into the trash, even though the temperature was still in the mid-30s!
Then, it was time to get back on the computer and do some more Wealthy Affiliate research! This part is never-ending! (Nor should it be!)
While I am doing this, I am also listening to my Kansas State Wildcats beating the West Virginia Mountaineers! It is halftime right now, and the Cats are winning 17-3. There is still another half of football to go, so we shall see!
I have also been going back and forth sorting more books for the Woocommerce site inventory!
When I went outside for a break, I was dismayed to see that the Sun had retreated, and that the clouds had taken over! What see-saw weather Kansas has!
I will not allow this weather-change to zap my motivation though! In fact, the Wildcats just won the football game too!
When I went back outside again, the Sun was attempting to make a valiant comeback!
This will likely keep occurring as the day progresses! I'll be stopping here at the eBay house, and heading over to the locksmith shop house for some more work there!
Soon, I was on my way for some more cleanup over at the shop and continuing to prepare it for staying there if Monica and I don't rectify our issues fast enough!
The drive over was decent, but you can see the cloud cover and how a once beautiful day turned sour very quickly!
The first room is the old living room, as this house--which was my very first that I bought at the age of 20 (I'm 54 now)--has been a rental, and for the bulk of the time since my second wife and I left it in 1999, has been my locksmith shop!
I worked for a few hours over there cleaning and sorting locks and parts which arrive almost daily from my other locations! The above image is the result so far.
There is still a lot to do, but I am calling it quits for the day since I still need to take a shower there since this house has water, whereas the eBay house does not!
On the way back to the eBay house, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up a few essentials! Now, I am finishing up this blog post.
Then I will work some more in the Wealthy Affiliate Community for the rest of the night while talking on the phone to my buddy up in Nebraska who is bored at work!
I love the community because there are always hidden treasures to be found and GREAT like-minded people from around the world to converse with and learn from!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD AS SUPERB A SATURDAY PORTION OF FRISATSU AS I DID!

I kind of took a day off yesterday and missed your post. I was so sleepy yesterday I couldn't keep my eyes open. I made it through a couple of posts and even tried watching a movie. Have you ever watched "What the Bleep do we know?" From what I was able to watch, it seemed pretty interesting!
No, Siobhan, to my knowledge I haven't seen it. It's not unusual to be tired during the day. There are a lot of factors that could cause that. I have taken a long nap on many days because I was tired.

Your locksmith shop looks tidy enough to me. If you keep rearranging things too much, you may have a hard time finding things when you really need them.

Since I am temporarily away from the other furry assistants, Kitty has stepped up her game and she IS the top assistant, Isaiah! 😼
Hopefully things will get better in that department, but she will still retain the position as the Top Assistant! She is also by far the oldest, so that is fitting! 😼🐶😼🐶😎
As far as the locksmith shop house, it is in a constant state of flux since new inventory arrives daily from my other locations as the combining of the sites continues!
Eventually, there might be more method and order to my madness, but for right now, I simply Go with the Flow!

I keep the eBay supplied with water form the shop house in jugs and a five gallon reservoir over there! The plumbing over there needs to be redone, along with many other things! Plus, I'm not paying $100 a month for a water bill I never used! It was the cost-wise thing to do when I cut it off 2 years ago! Think of all the ribeyes that could be purchased for the $2400 cost savings!🥩🥩

Here, I believe we pay for what we use, which used to be about 30-40 notes monthly, but I haven't checked that for a while as everything is direct debit!

Actually, it was 40 degrees here Saturday, which to me is not too bad. It's a little cooler today, but clear, so that's why the temp has dropped.
I like your Kitty -- pretty little cat. Glad she is keeping you company. She probably gets quite lonesome over there, and must undoubtedly be glad you are staying the night. Cats love to cuddle next to warm bodies. Be sure to give her lots of attention when you can.
I always wondered why cloud cover made things seem warmer on a winter's night, Fran! Is it because of an insulating effect, perhaps? 🤔
As for Kitty, she is basking in the attention this past week! I am getting accustomed to being here for likely the longer haul! Monica is a tough nut to crack!
I'm very glad for Kitty's company in this time of need! You need to get another cat post haste, IMHO!

They do make great companions. That's the one reason I'd like to get another kitty. However have decided to wait until spring. While it's nasty winter I'll hunker down and see how much I can get done in WA. Then when spring arrives, I'll be very ready for a change,

Jeff, I have a question about your ecommerce site. I noticed you had a picture of a bunch of books that you say you're planning to sell through your ecommerce store. I'm guessing that you have just one of each of those. Does that mean you can list an item in your store that you have just one of, and you will not be penalized? Could someone sell antiques, or perhaps collectible tools that are all just one-each items? I was under the impression that for a store you had to have multiples of the same item. If I am wrong, that is excellent. Just send me the real skinny, Jeff.
Yes, Fran, because my about me specifies that I sell one-of-a-kind items. Moreover, I can list what I want to without massive restrictions, etc. A lot of my historical ephemera would be considered racist by some! It is your own business! You obviously can't sell illegal drugs, Cannabis, or obvious other restricted items, etc. For instance an antique store will not have quantities on hand of any given item! This is my understanding at least!
