Sullen Saturday Still Seemed So Satisfying!

Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

I was well on my way to sleeping late on this new day, but then Monica called me, and after a 2-hour chat, I was motivated. While I was talking to her, I was also attending to the welfare of my furry assistants, and then I started a delayed deep-dive into the Wealthy Affiliate Community.

While I was still on the phone with her, Kitty even ventured in for a brief time to assist! Perhaps, she was also trying to tell me that she did not receive enough food--who knows?

When that was finished, I felt that the day, though chilly and rainy, so far, had finally gotten off to the proper start!

When I let her go when she was on her way to work, I then turned towards more writing in my Kindle Vella Episode #14, which is nearing completion.

If all goes well, this could very well be completed this evening, and for now, it will consist of the bulk of my Welathy Affiliate research portion of the day.

Since it was a bit chilly outside, and is expected to be tomorrow, as well, I have been doing my best to get a small fire built in the fireplace.

It likely will not be a huge fire, since most of my wood is wet because of the rain. It is going good for the moment, but not sure how long it will keep going, but it is better than nothing.

I think it might burn awhile, so that will be nice, and might take the chill off a while, at least.

These are a couple of the images of the day, so far.

We are hovering around 40 degrees at this time.

It had stopped raining for now, but the rain is expected to continue throughout the next two days, barring a strange change in the Kansas weather. You can still see all the dampness though.

Supposedly, we might have some sunshine tomorrow, but I am not counting on it.

When I got back inside, the fire was going better, and I added some more kindling to it too!

I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

I figured that it was time to feed the Blog Dogs their main meal of the day too!

They did not let me down, once again, scarfing all of it up very quickly! I am not sure how much of that they will experience when they are back at Monica's next week. (Thursday, I think).

I found their other collars, but I am looking for the ones that I will be sending them back with.

Then my buddy Kevin called me on his way to work at the railroad. I sat outside and chatted with him for about thirty minutes.

I decided not to capture any images of the day then, since it has, initially been the same all day.

Right after I got off the phone with him though, I was soon headed to Monica's house to drop off a printer stand that she needed.

The above image is heading over there! I had already texted her at work that I was dropping the stand off, and I told her that I also texted Samantha that I was on my way too.

I carried the stand inside, and about that time Monica was calling me on her lunch break. I sat outside her house in the truck talking to her.

When that call was finished, I went back inside and filled up a few water jugs, talked to the kids, and then was on my way back to the eBay house.

The weather still had not changed.

When I got back there, I tended to the Blog Dogs and Kitty, and then jumped back on the computer to finish this blog post.

The rest of my evening for today will be spent on the phone, computer in the WAC, and finishing Kindle Vella #14. I must say it has been a very relaxing day!

ο»ΏI HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD AN EXCELLENT SATURDAY PORTION OF THIS CURRENT FRISATSU. MINE WAS A BIT SULLEN, BUT, ALL IN ALL, I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED MOST OF WHAT I WANTED TO DO.

Sincerely,

Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Definitely a nice relaxing Saturday Jeff, I just don't know why you don't keep your firewood dry though??

Nice going on the writing my friend and enjoy a wonderful Sunday portion!

πŸ»πŸ»πŸ–πŸ„πŸ₯©πŸͺπŸͺπŸ₯—πŸ±πŸΆπŸΆπŸ₯“

Rain will do that. I have huge piles of it,and it is not easily covered, and I always have a few pieces in the house, so I got by yesterday.

I'll likely publish #14 this morning, and then begin working on the final episode of the story, barring anything else! Have an excellent Sunday portion!

😹πŸͺπŸ₯©πŸ₯—πŸΊπŸ«πŸΆπŸ«πŸΆ

Of course rain will do that Jeff, just get a cheap plastic covering to keep it all protected and dry!!

Or at least get a bit more of it inside!!

Great progress my friend and my Sunday portion has been great so far, no naps though but I intend to turn in early!!

🍻🍻🐢🐢πŸ₯“πŸ±πŸ₯—πŸ₯©πŸ«πŸ«πŸ–πŸ„

Been there, tried that, this is why I do it how I do now, Nick! It works well without additional expense.

My Sunday portion has seen me publishing, and then starting the final Episode of the First KV story! Loving every minute of it.

😹🍺🐢🐫πŸ₯©πŸ₯—πŸ«πŸΆπŸΊπŸ₯©πŸͺ

Doesn't sound like it works too well if your firewood is all wet Jeff!!

Best of luck with churning out the final episode my friend!

Actually, the dry logs inside, once the coal bed formed dried off the other small logs brought in, so it worked well enough, Nick🀣🀣πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Fair enough buddy, I believe you!!

No need not to, my friend!

Morning Jeff.

Well done on getting Vella#14 done. Sticking at an idea like that is very rewarding.

I will be sad to see the blog dogs leave on Thursday - I know you will be too.

You wrote

"While I was still on the phone with her, Kitty even ventured in for a brief time to assist! Perhaps, she was also trying to tell me that she did not receive enough food--who knows?"

It was the food, Jeff. I'm 100% sure about that one. Sorry mate.

Paul

Good day, Paul!

I hope to have it edited and published by this afternoon. Then the final Episode of this story will be started!

Haha! You are likely right about Kitty! Maybe I should make her do more work for her food! πŸ˜²πŸ™€πŸ˜Ή

Jeff

You should do Jeff. 14 in cat years is only 72 in human years. Unless Kitty has a good pension she still has to work for her keep ;-)

Paul

Yes, Paul! She does, indeed!

Jeff😹

That sounds like a nice, calm day, Jeff. It’s so good that your weather has held out and you haven’t needed too many fires or the hand warmer like last winter. Soon you’ll have sunny warm days to enjoy. Always good to hear about your day. Have a pleasant evening with the furry assistants.

Susan 🐢😹🐢

It certainly was, Susan! I could use a lot more of those, my friend! I hope when the sunny days arrived that they will be financially productive! I hope you have a pleasant evening too!

Jeff🐢😹🐢

Heyyyy Good Buddy Jeff!

Why don’t you bring me some of that wood from your pile? My stash is getting kind of low. lol!!!. Hope you have enjoyed your Saturday.

Hazel

Where do you live, Hazel? It might not be cost effective, besides, winter is on its way out soon!

JeffπŸ™

I knowww! I still get some chilly evenings. I love, a cozy lit fire. I am in Maryland, so I guess it’s not really worth your while. Joking! πŸ˜…

Hazel

I know it might be a little cooler up there right now, Hazel!

Jeff

What a nice, calm Saturday. The rain stopped and grass dried out this morning so I cut the back lawn. What a beautiful day. I sat in the sun with my dog in my lap for about an hour.
Jim

It was, for the most part, Jim! I'm glad you got some yardwork accomplished. We were supposed to rain tomorrow too, but I will have to wait and see now, since it is forecast to be sunny tomorrow now!

Jeff

Jeff, can you adopt a senior dog? We have that out here.

I would be very sad too. Unfortunately, the Great one has a better plan that, at times, can be painful.

The kids are happy to have their dogs back. I am sure they will bring them by to visit and when you get your jugs and shower they will be there. Gives you and Kitty more time together.

Hope your K State team takes care of UCSB, shouldn't be too tough but I wouldn't get too confident. March madness is called madness for a reason(s).

I am loving my Bruins this year. I grew up during the days of John Wooden and got spoiled. Lew Alcindor now Kareem Abdul Jabbar was a joy to watch.

Hope a few beers and a steak while watching the game(s) tomorrow brings some happiness.

Happy Satsunday. We move our clocks forward here tonight finally. I wish they'd leave that alone after this.

I probably could, David, but I would not wish the eBay house on any dog, sadly. It really has been a difficult past almost two years! No heat (except the fireplace), no air, and no water. I am very happy that the Blog Dogs will be going to back where they have a HUGE yard, air, heat, and two kids that love them!

March Madness is always up in the air. On any given day, anyone can win! I'll just have to wait and see!

A few Beers is doable, and perhaps some more pork or a hmaburger, but no steak so far.

Thanks for the reminder, David. DST should be a thing of the past!

Jeff

Beautiful images here, Jeff.
I like the sound of rain, but it can make me lazy and sleepy.
Glad you had a productive day.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Thank you, Muslimah! I like the sound of the rain too, and it makes me feel the same way.

I was truly surprised at how much I managed to get done on this rainy Saturday!

I hope you had a GREAT Saturday, and will have an even better Sunday!

Jeff

Thanks for the fire, Jeffrey. I moved into a new home last March, and had to let my Jotul go. It's in good hands, and actually being used this evening, so wood fires abound, but not here.

There's quite a bit of snow here in Upstate NY. No complaints though. The seasons are a lovely thing.

...gonna miss them Blog Dogs.

Dave

You're very welcome, Dave! Perhaps you will be in a position to have a fire again, soon!

JeffπŸ”₯

The dogs go back home to Monica? Are they your dogs or hers? Kitty is cute. I did not entirely solve the GA issues. The coding sounds too complicated for me. I decided to wait until tomorrow. For now, I am resting up. I wrote three articles today. I'm exhausted. I am glad you were able to get things done today.

They were both litter mates from the dogs that I used to have. Jacob and Samantha picked them out, and they lived at the house I bought for us, up until the Pretulant (older)Step Daughter decided she needed a German Shepherd puppy over two years ago that eventually ousted the Blog dogs out and me out of where we lived. They are now merely gettiung to go back home ot where they have always belonged, and I am very happy for them!

I just read one of your articles! Very well done!

Jeff

Wow. Thank you for the comments about my article. Won't you miss them? I would cringe over the separation. I hope they will adapt. I am going to rest now. I might watch a movie.

I missed them when I was forced out of the house, first, but then when the Shepherd came, they were kicked out to where I was, much to the two younger children's chagrin, Brenda! I will still get to see them, and Samantha will keep me loaded with images, so no worries! I am very happy for them! I only wish that I was going back too!

Jeff

Yeah, thats understandable.

Thanks, Brenda. I am not sure that will happen, but two out of three isn't bad!

Keep your furry ones and yourself warm tonight!

Myra πŸ’œ

They are in front of the fireplace, Myra, but tomorrow, it should be warmer, and by next Thursday, they should be back home where they will be much happier!
