Monday Meant Managed Making Monumental Moil!
Here is a short post about the day I had for everyone in Wealthy Affiliate!
I must admit that I dreaded heading back to town today (Title image)
It still felt very cold, but I had to head back. Besides, I also needed to get Kitty as well.
First, my plan was to go sit in a warm restaurant and have a meal.
I chose Cracker Barrel!
The meal was thoroughly enjoyable.
I texted Monica that I was back in town, and she called shortly after while she was still at work. I was happy to hear her voice.
After I left, I checked the mail at the locksmith shop, and then picked up Kitty and headed home to work on getting a fire built.
It took a while, but the fire has been successful so far.
Kitty went inside and hid, and while she was doing that, I jumped into the WAC in earnest!
It felt like a prudent thing to do!.
I also got the space heater going, but it blew a fuse! So much for that.
Then calls came in for two jobs. So far one tomorrow, and one the next day! We will see how that goes.
For as long as I stay awake, I will keep playing catch-up, but soon I will be ready to go to bed.
That's all I have for now! I'll take another image of the fire for tomorrow's post. as well!

Some days are harder than others...
Mine today was hard because I had all details arranged for Juneau trip; then my son called and said the road was so deep in snow he couldn't drive to Auke Bay to pick me up. There's quite a long stretch where there's nothing much but trees, and the snow was about 3 feet deep...plus supposed to have another 3 feet by tomorrow morning.
So, I cancelled everything. Will call dentist tomorrow -- they closed today because of weather -- and see if they can schedule me at the same time next week. Sigh! Life in the frozen North...
Built a good fire and enjoyed it all day. A young friend came over and got some more wood in for me. Now it's supposed to warm up and rain! You never know...

I hope it all works out, Fran. I blew a fuse at the house for the space heater, and the fire burned for as long as it could! Kitty and I are making it right now though.

Not a time to be without heat -- good luck to you. So far oil still holding up for my Toyos. I need to get it checked soon.
Working on it as quick as I can, Fran! The space heater shorted out a fuse, so I'll check on that. This is old electricity. When I bought Monica her place, I never meant to be back here long term, but I have been!
I'm taking a guess, Jeff - is that country fried steak and gravy with fries on the side?
Good to see that you survived that Arctic blast! 🥶 I think the temps should return to normal this week.
