Marvelous Monday Mania!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I had a pre-scheduled job this morning at 9:00 am for an eviction! Therefore, Kitty and I were up earlier than usual and working feverishly with the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
She did not seem that enthused though! Nevertheless, I had to go make some money to support us all!
I took another image of the early morning right before I left to go on the job!
It was quite beautiful!
The drive over to the first job of the day was very nice too!
The below image is at the job! That house is the one where I ended up making $153.00 at!
This is owned by a long-term client of mine, who also happened to be the Realtor who sold me my first two houses, which I still own to this day by the way!
When I finished with that, I headed over to the locksmith shop house to do some things while awaiting a call back from a possible job that had called earlier!
When the potential client called me back, I took his job too and made $85.00 on it, but also established an awesome relationship with him while doing it! I've done at least two jobs in the past for him, but I'll be having some more from him now!
The drive over to the second job was equally spectacular!
I was taxing the jeep to the limit, but hey, there is a bigger opportunity here as well! More on that later!
Below is the house I had to change two locks on! It is almost 3,000 square feet!
It is huge and also has a basement! Kevin and I are thinking about bidding on the clean-out of it! We used to do this when he worked for me in the early 2000s.
There are a lot of valuable items in there, but also a lot of TRASH! I know the guy and his mother who owned it from going to auctions in the past from 2008 to 2014!
Fast forward now to me getting back home and taking care of the Blog Dogs who had not yet eaten yet! I re-heated the stew and mixed it in with their dog food!
They made short work of that, but Shadow went a step further with it, grabbing Star's empty bowl!
They are hilarious!
In the meantime, Kevin and I have been talking about the possiblity
We have been negotiating with the Realtor for a clean-out contract for that property! There might be an extra blog post just showing the scope of the work that would have to be done!
We had a merged call to the Realtor also discussing the possibility!
When that was over, I also finally managed to get some Wealthy Affiliate research done too! Whew, just in the nick of time!
The rest of the evening might be spent with me taking Monica out to eat when she gets off work for Valentine's day! I'm not counting on it, but it would be GREAT!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL START TO THEIR NEW WORK WEEK! I KNOW THAT I DID!

Hey Jeff. hope your day was good, and Monica went to dinner with you, I will pray that you have divine favor and get the cleanout job, something in there you could sell for good money. Divine favor means those persons who own it will choose you over anyone else. and why not? Get the black trash bags ready in your mind for trash, and white ones for save, so it starts out simple, one or the other. You and your friend are planning on working it together? It looks like 2 person job, yes!
Ihave to eat something and go to bed, or I'll have trouble sleeping. So good night, Friend!
Zay
It WAS good, Suzay! The only hiccup in it was Monica not going out with me, but we might today--who knows? I hope we get the bid too, because there are MANY somethings in there that can be sold for good money! People who have the right eye and experience for selling will see this place as the treasure trove it truly is--not including the money that will be made cleaning it out!
We will have roll-off dumpsters here as well as a burn pile, a save trailer, and also a donation section for giving to churches and other non-profits. Plus much more. Kevin is lining everything up and we have about 6-7 experienced people on board who have help us with these clean-outs in the past! Kevin also is EPA certified in his capacity at the railroad, so he knows all the ins and outs!
When Kevin worked for my then Corporation J & J Locksmith Auto Group, Inc. (JJLAG), he and I did a GREAT many such cleanouts for a couple of grand over what changing the locks on eviction houses was. That, of course, was when we also still have to my salvage yard to dispose of many certain items! If it is God's will, we will get the job!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for the advice.
Jeff
Loving that first light through the bare trees.. or is that the full moon?
i appreciate how you do life..
whether its a lock to be replaced, or mixing last nights stew with the blog dogs kibble.. itโs artistry in action.
youโre a good man Jeffery!
keep on thriving!
Al
It IS the first light through the trees, Al!
Thank youfor your kind words, Al! They are much appreciated. it is just how I roll, I guess! I try to live each day to the fullest!
You're a great man too, Al! Keep striving and succeeding!
Jeff
So refreshing to actually see the sun shining and maybe some warmth. Hope you Valentine's dinner with Monica was spectacular and enjoyable.
Hoping you're and your furry family are enjoying the change of weather. My week started off challenging with some WA work, have been working on it all day still no solution in sight, but it's ok I'll get there.
I know exactly what yo mean, Elodie! We have not gone to dinner tonight yet! It might be too late for her! If it doesn't happen, then maybe we'll do it another night!
Myself and the furry assistants are enjoying the weather changes ot the fullest!
I sincerely hope that you solve your dilemma with the WA work! I know that you will!
Have a pleasant evening!
Jeff
Wish our weather looked like yours. When I got out of the shower about 10:30, it was snowing! It snowed till noon; stopped for a while; started again...it's been doing that all day.
Meanwhile, I've had a frustrating day trying to work out a problem with the boutique for which I've yet to find a solution.
By the way, take a look at it...I put 6 more pieces of Barb's mom's stuff on there...very unusual pieces. I'll PM the address to you in case you forgot.
Glad you made all that money. If I were there, I'd ask you to take me to dinner, too...lol...Hope Monica takes you up on the offer.
Oh no, Fran. I hope it starts looking like ours too, my friend.
Snow Snow GO AWAY! I,m sorry you have had a frustating day concerning the boutique. What is wrong with it?
I look forward to check ing out the new additions.
I would be glad to have you accompany me on a Valentine's day dinner. It is getting late now and I don't think Monica is going to take me up on it. I'd really be surprised if she would!
I was definitely happy with the money made and the possibility of this new job opportunity!
Have a nice evening! Happy V-Day! ๐
Jeff
Thanks, Jeff.
The boutique is okay -- I'm not! I want to start a YouTube channel showing the jewelry in shorts, and have run into mucho trouble with some issues with it. When I know more, will explain.
You're welcome, Fran.
I'll wait to hear what you find out, my friend.
Sleep tight.๐ด๐ด

Good morning Jeff,
I'm so pleased that you had a good and constructive and eventful day, that's wonderful to hear!
It's always amazing what one client can do, they can bring in many recommendations! I find that politeness, good manners and willingness go a huge way in growing a business.
It looks like you may have more opportunities, Jeff, that's great! I guess you come across a lot of rubbish but at the same time some very interesting stuff!
I have thought of a new book title for you; "A Day In The Life Of Geoffrey Brown"!!!!๐
I agree, every dog has its individual characteristics and brings joy to an individual and families!
Have a great day.
Roy
Good afternoon, Roy!
I certainly agree with your astute assessment! I spent a few hours last might on conference calls with all the players that will make this thing a reality IF we land the bid! We are definitely doing our due diligence!
Kevin and I have done many house clean-outs in the past years, but this one will be the largest ever if we land it!
I'll post a short post full of images soon which will not be my normal daily post! That will come later in the evening!
That would be a GREAT book title! I had a friend named Geoffrey! For me, mine if Jeffrey--other than that--A-Okay in my book, pardon the pun!
Stay tuned!
Jeff
Hello Jeff,
I really hope that you can make the winning bid, you can only but try!
It certainly looked like quite a large house! I guess with some houses it's amazing what people have inside them, probably more than I could ever imagine. That would be interesting to see the pictures, Jeff!
I am glad you liked the book title! I just realised I put the wrong Jeffrey in! (Can I blame Dragon NaturallySpeaking, my speech software!?)
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Roy
Thank you, Roy! We will do the due diligence and try to land the bid! Nothing ventured, nothing gained, my friend!
The house is between 3,000-4,000 square feet!
If we land the job, there will be many more images!
Yes! You can certainly blame Dragon, Roy!
I plan on going out to eat later with Monica! I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, my friend!
Jeff
Hello Jeff,
I hear you, when these opportunities come along we have to do our best to try and win them, we can only but try! If we don't take action then nothing will happen, as you well know!
That's a big house Jeff, with a lot of stuff I guess!
I'll be honest with you, I often blame Dragon! I can't type very quickly so Dragon NaturallySpeaking is very useful! To be fair, it's amazing what it can do.
I had a few lessons from a professional earlier this year, it helped the accuracy considerably. Some people claim that they can receive 99% accuracy, I'm not sure what mine is. However, I know it's far quicker than me typing.
I guess I have been using Dragon for 12 to 15 years, over the years it has greatly improved. I have had several different versions as the technology increases. I think the biggest increase happened when I started purchasing more powerful computers. Apparently, Dragon works more efficiently with a more powerful computer, I guess like most programs! They recommend a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, I have 64 GB on my desktop!
Although it's good, it can make some dreadful mistakes! One mistake was when I was replying to my Nigerian friend whose surname is " Ugen". I asked how Mrs Ugen was, Dragon wrote; "how is Mrs Fatso"! Thankfully I saw the mistake before I pressed send! But how would you deal with that one if I hadn't seen the mistake!?
Another good one was when replying to a fellow Wealthy Affiliate member, I can't remember what I was supposed to write. However, Dragon wrote; "can I go with your wife, please"! Once again, thankfully I saw the mistake before pressing, reply!
Incidentally, I am still using Dragon!
I really hope you have a great time with Monica.
Have a great day.
Roy
Wow, Roy!
I have slowly been toying with Dragon V. 12 which I got NOS is box on eBay for $40 which included shipping and tax in that amount. I am excited about it, and want to start using it for my next book series, but regrettably, I simply have not had as much time right now, but I do have it in the back of my mind!
Thnaks for the affirmations on Dragon though! Even though mine is an older version, I will upgrade at some point once I get used to it, and YES! I always try to proofread!
Sadly, Monica stood me up again. I kept texting her later just to see if she was okay after her phone would ring a few times and go to voice mail. She finally responded that she fell asleep, and that was it!
It is, what it is, and whatever is God's will is going to happen in this matter!
I hope you are having an excellent HUMP day, my friend!๐ซ
Jeff
Good morning Jeff,
I hope you're doing well.
That's good Jeff, I have no idea how compatible version 12 of Dragon would be with Windows 10! It may be worth checking it out on the Internet to see if it's worth trying.
In my experience, the biggest thing is having a powerful enough computer to make Dragon work effectively. And yes, you may be able to receive a discounted version of Dragon 15, if you upgraded from 12. That may be the best option!
There is a bit of a learning curve with Dragon, but it's not massive. I actually have a Dragon command document on one of my chrome tabs in case I want to look up a command. I don't want to put you off Dragon in as I only know the basics and it certainly works pretty well for me. It's even better after a few short lessons of training, I learned some basic things that I didn't know! It's just helped to make Dragon run smoother.
I am sorry to hear about Monica, sometimes it's difficult to understand things! That's the best way, Jeff, keep trusting God!
Have a great day.
Roy
I'm actually using it on a Windows 10 Computer, Roy, and it seems ot be working fine!
I have not sued it a lot yet since I have not had the time!
Monica and I ended up going ofr Fajitas Wednesday night, then to the store, and then to an unlock job!
It was GREAT!
Jeff
That's good Jeff, I'm pleased to hear that! I know my accuracy went up massively when I started using a computer would more RAM. So don't know how much was down to lack of power or due to the version I was using! It may well have been a lack of enough RAM!
That's good Jeff, I'm glad that you were able to go out with Monica, that sounds like a good thing to do! And then another job, that's good news! It looks like you had plenty of food!
Have a great day.
Roy
A lot of my equipment needs upgrading, Roy, but I always tend to upgrade last!
I was ecstatic that we had a decent evening. I'll likely add some images in my next post.
Have an excellent new day!
Jeff
I understand Jeff! However, some of the older equipment can still be good. My laptop is eight years old, although it was a good spec when I purchased it and still is! It still works absolutely fine, just like it did when it was brand-new.
That's fantastic Jeff, I'm very pleased that you had a great evening! I do hope things improve!
Have a great day.
Roy
Yes, Roy! I totally agree, my 2 Dell 3020s certainsly do the job for me!
Time is all that is required to try and work out these differences with Monica, but I will say, that, in the end, it will all turn out IF it is God's will!
Jeff
That's good, Jeff! I have always found Dell computers to be good, in fact, that's the only make of computer I have owned! My Webmaster always buys used refurbished commercial machines, it seems to work well for him.
I agree with you Jeff, I do hope things work out, we just have to keep trusting God.
Have a great weekend.
Roy
Thanks, Roy! I have loved my Dells since I have owned them!
I also buy the used and refurbished commercial grade Dells too, Roy!
We must ALWAYS trust in God and never waver from our faith!
Jeff
Good morning Jeff,
I understand where you're coming from, in fact, exactly where you are coming from! I thank God every morning that I have a nice room to work from with a nice powerful Dell Precision workstation that serves me well!
That's interesting Jeff, are you able to strip computers down and add bits etc. I think it pays to buy something decent, but think I mentioned I Dell Latitude is still going perfectly well after eight years. Although the initial investment was more, it's definitely paid off!
I purchased my wife an HP Pavilion laptop under three years ago, however, I have had to replace it with something better! It was probably false economy in the first place! There's nothing worse than waiting ages for your computer to turn on and off or the pages to load! It shouldn't be like that in this day and age!
Her new laptop is serving her well!
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday.
Roy
I've had some good experiences with my older equipment fortunately enough, Roy, but I understand what you are saying!
And as for every morning, I will always thank God for everything that he has bewstowed on me, and for, of course, allowing me to wake up to another new day!
I hope your Frisatsu this time around was excellent, my friend!
Jeff
Good morning Jeff,
I hope you're doing well and keeping warm.
That's good Jeff, I believe that computers are much more reliable than they were a few years ago. I knew a lady who had a domestic Dell laptop, she actually used it all day and every day, maybe not at the weekends, but it certainly had a lot of use! She definitely had her monies worth!
My eight-year-old laptop is still very much appreciated, I'm very thankful for it. I think this is partly because it has not given me grief like the old Windows XP machines that I had previously, it always runs smoothly! Do you remember Windows XP Jeff? There were times when I wanted to throw the whole computer out the window! Not clever, but the truth!
If I used Windows XP all day, I may have to reboot three times, not clever! I'm glad those days have gone!
I remember reading on social media, things like, "I want to smash my computer with a hammer" and "my computer is going out the window in a minute"! I think Windows 7 and Windows 10 changed all of that, maybe not Windows 8 which I didn't use! Thankfully, I don't see those comments on social media anymore!
I like your last paragraph, so true, it's important to be thankful!
Have a great Tuesday.
Roy
Good afternoon, Roy! I sure did have an excllent Monday!
I am doing well, and with the aid of the fireplace, am also keeping warm!
I will definitely agree on your assessment about computers. I am just very slow to adapting to the newest technology!
I still use computers to this day that are between 8 qand ten years old, and I find that I am still doing quite well with them.
I never used Windows 8 either. I used windows 7 to the max and then morphed over to Windows 10. It will be a while before I use Windows 11, but by then, Windows 13 will likley be the norm!
It is always important to be thankful!
I hope you are having an excellent week so far!
Jeff
Good morning Jeff,
I'm glad that you had an excellent Monday, that's always good to hear!
I think many of us are very thankful for the aid of a fireplace! In the middle of winter, it's hard to imagine what summer is like and vice versa of course!
I believe that if a computer or something is running fine, why change it, within reason! I understand where you're coming from, Jeff, when we learn something and get used to something, it's hard when updates change things! Especially when the old system works fine! Thankfully Windows 7 to Windows 10 were almost identical for the user!
I thought Windows 10 was supposed to be the final operating system, but that seems to have changed! I agree, I can't see any reason for upgrading to Windows 11 when Windows 10 does the job! I'm sure it's a money-making exercise!
I recently had a mobile phone upgrade, why does the on-off and the volume button have to be moved to the other side of the phone? And change the order of the buttons, who thinks up all that awkward stuff!?
Have a great day, Jeff.
Roy
The fireplace has sure saved me, Roy!
I agree with you on the computers. What I have right now is exactly what I need at the moment. I'll have to make do as inflation soars!
Change is constant, but when they totally change things that we have been used to, it is counter-productive, and I think totally insane and completely unnecessary!
Have an excellent Thursday!
Jeff
Hello Jeff,
I do hope you're having a good week as it draws to an end.
A fireplace is such a wonderful place on a cold day, just to see that glow and warmth that comes out!
That's great that your computers are serving you well, it's great to have the right tools for the job. It's amazing that your President had 81 million votes and was supposed to be the most popular president ever!!!๐๐๐ Surely he will go down as the worst President ever as inflation rises rapidly!?
I hear you, Jeff, change is very constant, some change brings good things and some are not so good! Although I don't really use apps, on the occasions I do, they seem to be changing in a very annoying way. The reason I say apps is with apps this seems to be something that changes unnecessarily, maybe that's because they rarely work properly. In general, I find a webpage much better and easier!
Where technology is good, for example, I have recently upgraded my car they seem to have made good use of technology in a sensible way!
Have a great weekend Jeff.
Roy
I certainly cannot complain as the week ends headed into another Frisatsu!
My fireplace has certainly been my salavation, Roy!
The President (Not mine, of course, becuase I wasn't going to vote for a buffoon), has severe Dementia in the literal sense! He did NOT receive 81,000,000 votes! Not even close. Perhaps 8,100,000 votes would be more apt a number.
I agree that a web page is much better, Roy!
I don't drive an interactive car, so I can't speak to that part, Roy!
Jeff
That's good, Jeff, the weeks go by quickly.
I knew you wouldn't vote for a buffoon, Jeff! Yes, although I think 8.1 million votes is being generous!
I must admit that I quite like a few toys on a car, providing they are beneficial and not unnecessary!
Have a great Sunday.
Roy
