Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

This post will be a bit short on words, but as they say, "A Picture is worth a Thousand Words".

If that is true, then this will be my LONGEST post today, Ha Ha! By the way, this does have a Wealthy Affiliate tie-in!

In no particular order, here are some images of SOME (not all) of the rooms of this house that I installed a couple of locks on yesterday. It also does not includes some things outside in the back. If you have not read it, you can click below:

Here are the images:

This is nowhere near all the rooms or the huge garage complex needing clean out either! My buddy Kevin and I were on conference calls last night with the Realtor and also with Sylvester, who is a business associate using the land around my warehouse complex for his scrapping and hauling business!

We are meticulously putting together a bid on this job! Kevin and I did this for many years as an added service to clients when my locksmith business used to be Incorporated, so this is not our first Rodeo! Of course, this would be the largest job to date though! If we win the bid, the tentative start time would be around March 7th, and would be completed NLT March 21st.

The good news is that the Realtor (who is also an Army veteran and a bit younger than me) might want to join Wealthy Affiliate, so that definitely would be a positive!

It just goes to show that we never know where a referral could come from! I've had a few word-of-mouth discussions with associates and clients concerning Wealthy Affiliate, and there have been some that were close to joining!

I will always pursue those opportunities when they arrive!

Makes your Ebay house look neat as a pin, Jeff. 🤗
Enough there to open up a thrift shop...perhaps the PSD could run it. (Another laugh).
I know that mixed in that mess are some real treasures though, so keep the bid low enough to cash in.
Archie

I know, Archie, and I LOVE it!😹

There is some serious GOLD there within the trash! I have a practiced eye for this! The PSD will get nowhere NEAR it, after all, I want this to be successful, not turning out to be a complete SHAM SHOW!

I've got an inside track on the bidding, and I will use that to leverage things a bit, my friend! Wish us luck!

Jeff

Will be great if you land that one!

Wow ! A friend of mine is a hoarder. He use to be a top realtor years ago and has a major in psychology 🤔
He has 15,000 lp's in his bsmt!
I have not seen his home in about 6yrs which was very cluttered then it was very nice when he bought it 20 yrs ago .
He says it's just a tunnel of stuff to walk thru now🤯
He said he has spent around $300,000 at value village in the last 10 yrs unbelieveable. He refuses to go to a doctor he says they can't help him he's very stubborn . To top it off his health is not getting better it's going down hill sad story .
Hope u get the job and WA referral 😁👍

Those LPs are worth BIG money! Have you seen the new releases on LP? They are $30, John! Think about what originals are worth! Even more!

I'm hoping we land that bid because there is money to be made!

Jeff

Yes I've seen the prices on those new lp's crazy🤯
I have a pristine condition beatles 45 apple record with I believe hey jude and #9 on the flip side. Years ago a dj said it was worth in the original jacket around $250.00🤔

You are likely sitting on some good money, John!

Jeff

Maybe but I'am getting older I have a few antiques around the house besides me ha ha😜

Haha! You're likely quite valuable too, John! We ALL are in our own special and unique ways, my friend!

Jeff🤪

Yes your right everyone's special in our own way that's what makes the world interesting😜👍

It certainly does, John!

Jeff😎

Holy crap.

There is a lot of stuff in that house. I cannot imagine the amount of time needed to collect it all. It is what some people do, thought I do not understand it.

It all looks clean and while not exactly organized, at least not disgusting.

I hope you win the bid and find many treasures.

Alex

Yes, there is, indeed, Alex! I knew the guy, it was accumulated over YEARS, my friend!

Admittedly, I am to an extent, a hoardeer, as well. The difference is that I make money with my hoard!

The disgusting level only applies to the kitchen and bathrooms, but even there, I have experienced MUCH worse!

I hope we win the bid too! There are so many treaures there on the surface! Digging deep, who knows what we will find!

Jeff

Wow, that's a lot of stuff to move, it would be a blast.

I cleaned out a hoarders trailer once, it was completely full.
It was for my job, I was maintenance at a mobile home park.

The place had unopened boxes and lots of cash lying around.
It took 3 (20 yds) dumpsters to completely empty the trailer out.

Me and two other guy's split everything evenly.
Most items were brand new still in their boxes.

Hope you guys get the job, it looks like fun!
Great way to get referrals for WA too!

Seems like the week is going great!

John

Maybe we should hire you on too, John!

Jeff

Wow yes that's amazing! When I was a realtor years ago I had a client who was a hoarder and he lived in the bsm't of the house I sold. I got a friend to move all his stuff and it took 3 - 3 ton trucks to take everyrhing out books piled to the ceiling along with old paint cans partially and almost full yada yada yada sad.

It sure can be, John!

Jeff

If it wasn't 1250 miles away I'd be interested...lol

We opened the mobile home's windows in every room.
And, we had a guy on a mower pulling a trailer outside.

We threw as much as possible out the windows.
The guy used the trailer to haul to the dumpster.

That saved a lot of walking and carrying for us overall.
With garbage gone, we made save piles in every room.

We each had 300 plus in cash and I sold items on eBay.
In the next weeks, I had to renovate the entire mobile home.

We finished the job and the mobile home was sold.

Hope your hump day is going well my friend!

John

Wow, that's a lot of stuff to need 3-ton trucks.
The mobile I cleaned out was a 14 x 70 w/ 2 sheds.
It was floor to ceiling as well with a path through it all.
The sad part was the owner just gave it all up and left.

John

I had a few of those to clean out too, my friend! I used to own 27 of them in a park back in the early 2000s. It ended upo being a money loser because of tenants that got behind that you'd see later in the club partying, but at least I tried, and fortunately I only lost about $20k overall in 5 years!

I'll never do it again, but it was a GREAT learning experience!

Have an excellent HUMP day, my friend!🐫

Jeff

Yes, John! This is a 3-4,000 foot structure, but we are up to the task, ifffffffff the Price is right!

Jeff

OMG! I think it's the big one, Elizabeth!!! So, what's the story with this? Did the people who "lived" there pass away or just walk away from this mess? Did they own or rent the place? I'm just stunned. God only knows what's in there. Aside from critters, you might find a million dollars! It DOES make your eBay house look like Better Homes and Gardens! I guess you need to start with a big dumpster!

~Debbi

We will need several big dumpsters, and at today's Biden-inflated prices that runs about $725 before taxes for 40 yard dumpsters, but we have ways around this--we are just gathering the facts right now, Debbi! Yes, from what I have seen, there is some serious money in there! The mother of the guy I know is in a nursing home and they defaulted on their payments! He is kind of "dingy", and they allowed him ample time remove the items, but he was like a guy on the show "Hoarders", and he hemmed and hawed for too long! Now, it is our chance! If we get the bid we will capitalize on it!

Jeff

It might actually be fun to go through. If I lived closer, I'd help. I know ......hard to believe I'm saying that huh. 😎

Debbi, from my experience, the public guardians would take over when they were asked to do so by the tenants family, or if the tenant was deceased! They had to sift through it all, because there was usually cash buried in magazines and newspapers that the former tenant had forgotten about.
Hoarders tend to keep buying stuff that they never open, and that stuff just gets lost in the mix. They never throw out the garbage or their junk mail or anything else. I once was in a living room that had a bed in the middle that was surrounded by empty 2 liter bottles up to 2 feet high! It just boggles your mind.

I know what you mean, Thomas! My late wife used to use $50 bills as book markers! Years after her death in 2001, I was still finding money!

Jeff

Wow

You are welcome to join, Debbi!

Jeff

I know, Debbi! Right?

Jeff
