First Frisatsu 2024!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
The first Frisatsu of the year has finally arrived! I am so happy about that, because it will be a bit of a respite for a couple of days!
It will allow me to get some online bills paid, and other tasks which need to be taken care of!
Last night, I also chatted with Monica for about 20 minutes, and that was quite nice too!
Then, I fell into a deep sleep, so that was very helpful too!
After that I woke up at 6 am and got right down to business in the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community for the day which, without fail, I always manage to do!
For me, that is the best way to start each new day. Kitty did briefly show up this morning, which was quite a surprise to me!
She did not stay long though, so that was also expected! It was good to see her though!
When I finally finished in the first foray into the WAC, it was time to go capture images of the dismal new day, including the title image too!
We were only at the 30 degree mark at that time!
The day was now set for te snow that would be soon arriving.
The only work that I might consider would be from established customers, and if none of those come, then I will stay "hunkered down" for the day.
Wow, even Kitty tired to peek back in on my office activities, as well!
Too funny! She hardly stays out that much, so that was quite a surprise too!
She will likely venture in and out of the office all day long!
I suddenly got a locksmith call, so that will be quite interesting. We will see how that goes!
I will be heading over there in the next hour or so. Then I will get it done! I first had to go the Realtor's office to get the old keys.
Wow, snow had started to fall. Not a great way to start an unexpected work day on a Friday!
I went and got the old keys from the Realtor. (Like anyone will look at a place today).
In short order, I was at the location, and got right down to business changing out the front door lock!
That went with only a few minor glitches.
The back door was a no-go, since it was entirely different and would need a totally new lock in there, and with the cold weather,
it was a "no-go". I already knew that none of the tenants had back door keys to this complex!
When I got the front door finished, I dropped a couple of new keys off to them, and told them I would bill them later in the month, At least they will be able to show it now.
Mission accomplished for the day, since I am feeling a bit worse since I embarked on this unexpected adventure.
Now back home, I will continue trying to prepare my breakfast--more like brunch now. It will consist of the two remaining pork chops from yesterday, cut up into a two egg omelet!
My mouth is watering as I think about it.
Since "auto-save" once more is not working, this post will be published much earlier than usual.
If anything else occurs, I might post later in the evening too!
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HERE IN WEALTHY AFFILIATE HAD A STELLAR FIRST FRISATSU OF 2024! I AM DEFINITELY NOT COMPLAINING BOUT MINE! THE NEW YEAR IS GETTING OFF TO AN EXCELLENT START!

That is such a funny pic of Kitty, Jeff! She looks like she's watching over you closely. Good to hear you picked up some work but that weather's looking dicey. Hope you don't get too much snow! Enjoy your first Frisatsu evening.

Wow! Your snow came too early! It was supposed to pass by the Northeast before you Jeffoi!
I got myself ready, as I am working for 3 nights , so I booked a hotel across the hospital where I work. It would save me a lot of stressful, white-knuckle driving!

here we go, sliding through the first weekend of the year. Another 51 FriSatSu's and we can do it all again.
So glad the work is coming in. A dripping tap fills a bucket.
Is there any of those pork chops left. I think I know what I'm eating this weekend.

Slow cooked food always tastes great. And the aroma as I walk back in the front door, mmmm!

Great news on the first paying work of the year Jeff, even if it meant you had to venture out into the white stuff!!
We've all got to do what we've got to do to pay those bill's though!!

I used to have a customer who garaged all his bills.
He would never pay the last invoice until there was another invoice in the garage to replace it. I didn't mind, I just added 20% onto all my invoices to him. I was happy to wait another month for an extra 20%. And we were talking £2k or £3k each time.

I have had customers like that in the past too, Bux! It wasn't the first time over the years, nor will it be the last!

I had blokes wages to pay, and he knew he was getting a good deal. A lot of contractors wouldn't touch him, I think they were frightened of him.

Last Tuesday, when I went to Brownwood/Walmart, we got an inch and a half of rain. It rained again on Wednesday.
I have just been busy (a little bit), and lazy (mostly), lately, and that is why I have been here infrequently. Part of the little bit of busy, but I did get some work done on the next part of my story. I think I should be able to publish "The Trade" as an e-book now. So I need to look into that.
