Is it better to make your own videos for your niche website or is it OK to use videos we find related to our niche?
It is always better to make your own, but using others is fine, also. I use other peoples videos all the time.
What is the consensus for using other peoples youtube video?

I do both. I use my own videos and I also use other people's videos. You're welcome to use any of mine but they all have links back to my websites in them (◠‿◕✿)

im just curious how many everybody has and how long do you work on one before you start another one? I only have the one with a foundation and the walls are going up now. So ba
Over the years I've built four websites. Two of them I'm currently not doing anything with because I'm now building an online business around my music and composing services. I had to make two websites for that. One for people who are directors and the other for people who aren't (I'm a film composer.) But I'm using one of those to send all of my traffic to, and the others I'll post when I have time. You're also allowed to cross post on your own websites, which is a huge time saver. It's good to just focus on one website at a time if you can! If you need to make another then you can, but you only really need one website to bring in profit.
Kyle always says you can better have one terrific website, then multiple average ones.
I have 5 websites, 2 to promote WA and 3 niche websites
Hi James! I've got two websites so far - a niche website and a WA website. I started my niche site as soon as I got my WA site filled out. I will say that that has made it a bit tough to keep up with both since I started the second before really feeling confident about fleshing out the first. I'd definitely suggest getting one site really solid before moving on to another, and just keeping a list of your ideas/keywords/domain names thoughts :)
Good luck!

Hey James,
I have way too many! lol
But my reason is that I use them for case studies within the WA Live Training.
It's important not to spread yourself too thin with several websites as your time to work on each will become less and less.
Focus on one site and grow it!

Jay, just out of curiosity, are all your sites close to the same topic or do you branch off and do sites that are completely different? I think mine will range from how to make grilled cheese to raising a deaf child to how to change your oil. I have loads of interests so I think it will be a ton of fun.

So my niche is learning American Sign Language . Originally I was gearing it towards those that want to learn ASL either out of curiosity about the deaf community or wanting to
It feels like two different niches to me, but I can see how you could make it work on one site if you really wanted to. I do think that making it one site might* help you build that community though. Good luck!
Thank you for such a quick reply. I may just keep this first niche pretty narrow and down the road build a separate site for my community idea. It may complicate things to try to do too much at such an infant stage of my learning.
That seems like a good idea--get your foundation in first, find your feet, and then expand it. I know how hard it is to narrow down once you get excited though! Best of luck with everything, I'm sure it's going to be fantastic :)
