Back on Track!
So my hiatus is over and I have been back in action now since about mid way through December. I am happy to report that I am getting back on track and moving ahead at full steam!
Old Site is Updated and Primed
One of the first things I had to do was to get my old Family Game Night Ideas site back up and running. It had sat idle for about a year and unfortunately I missed something with Amazon during that time, so I had to create a new account. Thankfully I was able to capture some of the Christmas shopping with my updated Amazon account.
I was also able to get all of my Amazon accounts set up this time around and am no longer just an American site! This was a lot easier than I thought it would be and a big thanks to DomW for helping me with that.
I recently went back through every post and started updating everything that needed it, from links to appearance and everything in between. The site is now primed for some new content and I have a bunch of new games from over the last year that I am ready to start reviewing!
New Site Set Up and Moving Forward!
When I first joined WA I had a site in mind that I wanted to create, sort of a self development / make the world a better place blog. I wasn't sure how to go about that back then and thus the other site above here.
Being back and armed with all of the knowledge from my previous foray here, I was primed to start the site that I was really passionate about. Thus was born Spiral Revolutions!
With this site I really wanted to do better with Social Media, especially Twitter. My business partner and I have had success with Twitter for our company site, but he was the one driving that.
Using the knowledge I had from here and his experience learning it, I have set myself up for a solid start. In just about 2 weeks of effort I am fast approaching 1 thousand followers and have had solid engagement with them.
The site is around a month old now and is already starting to generate organic traffic as well. I had my first three visitors via search engine over the last week. I know this number will continue to rise as well!
Wrap Up!
It feels so good to be back. I never wanted to move WA to the back burner like I did, but life was well... life. Thankfully though WA's training meant my first site was still solid and ready to get back into action.
In my short time back I have already met some wonderful people as well as gotten back to some old friends. A big shout out to all of you as you have been an integral in my return.
Keep Working It!

I like your spirit and attitude James. You some times need that break and now you can see things in a better light. We all do this I feel and I know I did because of the over load that I was feeling.
That is good you are back and ready to go again.
Great post thank you,
Linda
Thanks Linda. Life is always a tremendous balancing act. Just glad that I am back and that WA is a healthy part of that.
So good to hear this news James!
... I have similar "chores" to take care of too. My time is like 0, but still moving forward!
Thanks! Just do what you can, one of the great things about this world is with each action you add another piece to the puzzle and are one step closer to where you want to be.
I know exactly what you mean, James when you say life is...well, life :)
Haven't been able to write on my sites for a couple of weeks now, not even my Swedish blog.
It's nice to see that things are moving for you :)
Yup, sometimes you just have to take what life gives you and be thankful for that. It will all work itself out in the end.
I rent a book "Spiral Dynamics". Very interesting stuff. Is your concept "Spiral Revolution" influenced by it?
I came up with the name because of the Phi Ratio actually. My view on life kind of incorporates that ratio into it in a way that shows growth. I wanted this site to be more of a brandable name versus a keyword based one.
