Are any of you guys getting plagued with the Olga spam as I call it. No matter how many times I block it it keeps coming back with a new email address, sometimes I can get as many as 5 messages at a time with the exact same message but a different email address all named Olga. Its some Russian dating thing and I don't know why it targets me as I am happily married. I am very careful where I give my email address with only using it for social networks, affiliate programs and a few online subscriptions e.g Netflix.

Here is the message:

Hi there sweet!Would you mind to finding a young and nice girl of 24?My name.s Olga. I am from Russia.Have you ever heard that the loveliest girls in the world live in my country? Don.t even doubt!I want to invite you to a very nice international family life agency where hundreds of single people are looking for their future lovers.I long for finding a special person for serious relations or even family life.Aren.t you the one I am searching for? Please email me ofucahidufu@yandex.ru

Its not so bad as it goes to my spam but it would be nice to stop it coming. Does anyone else get this one or know how to get rid of it.

This sounds fun. :D

If you use gmail, there should be a way to get rid of them using filters and whatnot. If you use some other email provider then I'm not sure.

But with gmail: go to your inbox, click on the button with the gear logo on the right below your profile picture, and click 'Settings'. Click the 'Filters' tab, and 'Create a new filter' at the bottom of the grey area. Now fill in as much text as you can that appears in every single email of theirs (and making sure that an actually legitimate email doesn't get falsely identified) and click the 'Create filter with this search »' link at the bottom-right of the box. Then check 'delete it'. You should be all set!

Again, remember that making sure the filter doesn't catch legitimate emails is of utmost importance as you really don't want to miss important emails and such.

Hope this helps!
(And again, I hope you're using gmail, because I have no idea about other services.)

Great information. Thank you!

No problem! No problem at all.

You Sex God. :)

hahaha

But Olga loves you so much. She has to contact you. True love knows no bounds. Thank goodness for the web helping to unite lovers from all countries. So much good the web can do.

Shes all yours if you want.

No thanks one wife is enough for me.

I know the feeling lol

Sounds good, just send her through to me.

You will have to battle Larry for her.

Larry's no longer in the race ;)

Well you got your girl then so.

I get stuff like this on my yahoo account asking me if im happy being married to my wife....number one i have a boyfriend and number two im not married so there ya go. Though mine are all women who say ive talked to them on facebook and wanted to reconnect with me....PFT yeah right. They will continue to come from multiple emails and honestly its super easy to find email addresses online even if you don't put them in anywhere so it could be that they just found like 100 email addresses and are spamming them with stuff hoping to get a catch.

I honestly dont think there is a way to stop them except to send them to your spam and never look at them again.

Hahaha. Sorry. I shouldn't laugh ;-) Hotmail is famous for this kind of thing, so fortunately I'm no longer with them. I have never have had that problem with gmail.

Don't even worry about it. I swear my spam box is some alter ego. I get stuff for Russians, Asians, cheating housewives, Viagra, scooters, diabetes treatments, and dealing with hairloss. So while I'm a 24 year old female, my spambox is a pervy old man with diabetes that's balding and needs a scooter to get around.

'Tsk tsk' Jason you must have visited a Porn site at some stage and your email was captured, LOL .....just kidding! ;-)

I often get Skype messages from "cyber ladies of the night" requesting me to include them as contacts! They have exotic names like:
Sweetness.kitten42, cheeky.meow24, theresa.love 42 etc.
Skype allows you to block them and report them as spam.

Rather than describe a specific email "case" I would recommend you simply Google a phrase like 'email spam' and you will get an endless list of links you can consult. Their solutions differ in detail according to which email client you use.
Your ISP can also help you in this regard!

Hope Olga stops pestering you...perhaps you can even contemplate legal action for sexual harassment! (how you would do that I honestly dont know! LOL)
Thanks for the humour!

Kind regards,
~Arthur

Have you tried unsubscribing to whatever list they come from? Usually if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of these emails in very small writing is a place that says to unsubscribe click here.

Nope they keep coming from different email addresses, there must be 10 at this point and I keep blocking them as they come. I'm not subscribed to anything like that.

I am inundated with them - not only girls wanting to be my girlfriend but some very interesting offers on how to increase certain male body parts in size and effectiveness. Drives me mad. I blacklist them, mark them as spam - everything possible but they still get through. Grrr.

Hahaha, I also get alot of emails about male enhancers "male part" then I respond that I don't have one yet but I will let them know when I grow one ;-)))) Thanks folks.
