Oh my. When I logged onto my website this morning, it looks like this.....

Yes - ok here too but I would add one thing. It was rather slow to load! Maybe that is related? Maybe not??? Just a thought!

If you are having probs, are you accessing through WA or outwith WA. Usually outwith WA is best because the WA system is having stuff done to it.

Your website it loading ok for me, doesn't look like that image. I sometimes get problems with facebook looking like that and it's usually because of my internet provider throttling the broadband back (we live in a country with useless internet), we pretty much end up like on a dial up connection and then web pages just won't load properly
Thanks so much for checking - I think I should try clearing my DNS and see if that solves the problem from my end. Thanks again :)

Thanks Ed - all sorted now. I cleared the cache from my browser and flushed the DNS - sounds painful but it worked!!

Morning all - am I right in thinking that alt text should appear when I hover my mouse over images on my website? This isn't happening. I've got alt text in all of my media fi
Just have the alt-text and you will be fine. Balloon text is optional I believe but maybe make a quick google search just to make sure... I don't want to steer you wrong.
As Jilly says, this clears up the why, but the question remains: is it important to have that show up or not? In more simple terms, is it important to also put the title in for other browsers for ranking purposes - or is the alt tag enough!? Anyone know?

It will update automatically. Any instance of those photos on any page or post are linked from your media library and displayed but the actual data is stored in your media library. The link only connects the page/post to the picture and doesn't hold any data about the picture itself, just what picture to display, how big, and where. I hope this makes sense.
