On Mac: Using Preview
Preview is the default image viewer on macOS, and it has a built-in tool to resize images.
Open the Logo:
Right-click on the logo file and choose Open With > Preview.
Resize the Image:
In the top menu, click Tools > Adjust Size.
A window will appear where you can change the width and height. You can input dimensions in pixels, inches, or percentages.
Make sure to check the box Scale proportionally to keep the aspect ratio intact.
Click OK when done.
Save the Resized Logo:
Go to File > Save to overwrite the original file, or use File > Export to save the resized version with a new name.
On Windows: Using Paint
Microsoft Paint is a simple built-in tool available on Windows, and you can use it to resize logos.
Open the Logo:
Right-click the logo file and choose Open With > Paint.
Resize the Image:
In the toolbar, click the Resize button (located in the Home tab).
A dialog box will appear. You can resize by percentage or pixels.
Ensure the box for Maintain aspect ratio is checked to prevent distortion.
Input the desired dimensions and click OK.
Save the Resized Logo:
Go to File > Save As to save the resized logo under a different name or format (e.g., PNG or JPG).
Key Tips:
Always maintain the aspect ratio to avoid stretching or distorting the logo.
If your logo has transparency (PNG), make sure to save it in a format that preserves transparency (e.g., PNG format in Paint or Preview).
Thank you, BennettsDad! I will give it a whirl and see if I can get it so people using mobiles may be able to view it better.

I have checked your website; you have the GeneratePress theme.
It is pretty simple: In your WordPress back office, you may head to your Appearance > Customize - In site identity, you have a retina display logo pointer where you can minimize your log without losing out on its resolution.
Once you are happy with the outcome, you can also choose the size you want for your tablet or mobile.
You can hit publish.
Make sure you clear your caches in both browsers and servers to reflect the new changes.
You can also empty the servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache
https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
That's all there is to it.
Abie
I also noticed that your title is to the right of your logo.
That's cool; again, in your Appearance Customize, you can click the logo properties and change them accordingly. However, it suits you.
You can check some options here
https://docs.generatepress.com/?s=title
Abie
No, you can use the same one in your WordPress. With the GeneratePress theme, you can go as small or large as possible. The Retina Logo (see image) does everything for you.
However, if you want to know, here's a helpful link.

I thought I had a URL# there initially, but now it is gone, and my menu is not in the same format as originally.
if you have used a custom link for say your home menu then you add your main url of your site....
for your categories i don't have a url box....just a name..
have you changed to a full site editing theme or another theme from your original if so then it wil be your main url/category name.....
so amazon.com/handbags for amazon handbag category....
Thank you, feigner for your help. My brain is fried at this point. I'm not giving up though.
As I told Abie...I'm not a computer guru, just love writing and publishing. But since my menu was perfect for me, then all of a sudden one day it just exploded, I'm wondering if it isn't a theme issue...which I know nothing about.
Thanks again.
I looked again, pressing F12 this time (developers tool) Inspect and noticed you have "widget inner-padding widget_nav_menu" - under nav_menu-7
So you need to check what widget that is...
I also noticed your privacy and disclosure running twice in the footer.
If you cannot figure it out, I suggest contacting site support and letting them know the issue or URL of this question so they can assist you further.
I hope you get it sorted.
Please excuse me for not looking closely the first time around.

Just this evening, I noticed that the Affiliated Disclosure and the Privacy Policy were now showing up twice on the right side of the page, in addition to the original one that I put on the bottom left side.
As I mentioned, I had everything set up perfectly, but then, without any apparent reason, it was no longer perfect. I'm quite puzzled by this sudden change.
It sounds like this could be a theme issue, which I know nothing about.
I sent this to site support a few days ago. I would have to do research to find out their response, but it didn't help me much. I will have to find that conversation we had.
Thank you so much for all your help. It has been driving me crazy!!!
You can also check your Appearance > Widget area and see what you have there... Or Appearance > Customize area to check your options.
Another option is to write to the Generate Press support team; they usually help if you have the premium upgrade. You may also check their community support forums.

Menu Overlapping or Misaligned
Diagnosis: If the menu items overlap or are not aligned correctly, it might be due to container width or padding/margin issues in the header/footer areas.
Solution: Review the layout settings in Customize → Layout → Header or Footer and adjust padding, margin, and container width. Check the CSS for any conflicts or improper use of floats, flexbox, or grid properties.
==
Footer Menu Not Displaying Correctly
Diagnosis: If the footer menu isn't showing up or is misaligned, ensure that the footer widget area is set up to include a navigation widget (if required).
Solution: Check Appearance → Widgets and see if the footer widgets contain the navigation menu widget. Alternatively, check if there’s a custom footer layout in Customize → Layout → Footer.
==
Add custom CSS to improve padding, alignment, and responsiveness, and that's the issue. However it may not necessarily be: -
A sample CSS code would be
/* Adjust padding and spacing in the header menu */
.main-navigation .menu > li {
padding: 10px 15px;
}
/* Align the dropdown submenu */
.main-navigation .sub-menu {
padding: 10px;
width: auto;
background-color: #f5f5f5;
}
/* Improve mobile responsiveness */
@media (max-width: 768px) {
.main-navigation .menu-toggle {
display: block;
}
.main-navigation ul {
display: none;
}
.main-navigation ul.toggled-on {
display: block;
}
}
/* Footer menu spacing */
.footer-widget .menu {
margin: 20px 0;
}
You can add this CSS under Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS. Hit Publish.
I would write to site support again here and see what they could advise. I am sorry this is happening. But try to play around with the customize section and see if you can find the fault.

I only have 7 plug-ins:
Classic Editor
Kraken Image Optimizer
Performance Lab
Performant Translations
Site Kit by Google
Smush
The SEO Framework
Thanks!
Thanks! :) None of these should directly impact your menu issues. While Kraken and Smush handle images, Performance Lab could affect how your menu is displayed if specific scripts or stylesheets are deferred or removed for optimization. I’ll make sure your navigation scripts are not being deferred.
If you’ve made performance optimizations, try temporarily disabling them to see if that resolves the layout issues. Also, clearing the cache (if using Performance Lab) might help ensure that any CSS changes you make are reflected.
This could also be related to some settings options.

Sorry, Abie, I have been removed from my website work. Yesterday and today have been pretty busy personally, but I will attempt to work with my Main Menu some more today. I think I now have it in worse shape. Grrrr
At this point, my brain is just fried; I will keep trying, though. I can't help but believe that it may have something to do with my theme, but I know NOTHING about the theme topic! I'm not a computer guru, but I love writing and publishing.
Abie, I truly appreciate all the time and effort you've put into helping me. Your support means a lot!
I noticed the categories in your menu, and it seems you've also attached posts to these categories within the menu itself.
This isn’t necessary. Instead, go to your posts with the posts tab and select the categories they belong to. Each time a visitor clicks, for example, on 'Pet Nutrition,' they will see all the related posts automatically.
You can add a post to multiple categories, which should help avoid this issue. I believe the current setup may be due to spacing limitations in your theme.
So you can go to your Appearance > Menus, remove all the attached posts, and keep the categories.
Abie
You may leave it at # if silent, not directing anywhere—otherwise, a ULR destination where that is.

You can get a broker to negotiate a deal for you. Of course, you'd also have to pay the broker, lol.
First of all, you need to be absolutely certain that you have chosen a niche subject that you are going to stick with, because a domain name can't be changed.
So, if you are happy with that, then decide upon the name you want, and go to Websites at the top of the screen, and then click Site Domains.
If the name is available, put it in your cart and go to checkout.
Check the spelling carefully, you can't change any mistakes!
When you get to checkout, there are three options to pay.
Choose the third option, that says WA credits.
You will have been given 32 credits to cover the cost of the domain.
