Hey guys, quick question:
What were you searching on the internet right before you signed up for WA?
For me it's so long ago that I don't even remember anymore. But
I was searching a program to see if it was a scam. I had fallen for too many scams. It was a scam.
I’ll never forget, when I read, no credit card required I had to see if they were telling the truth. Now 2 years later I am still here.

I have to say, the "no credit card required" was a big one for me too. I remember THAT part 😁 Thank you so much for leaving a reply!
I was freelancing and my son started having health issues to the point where it was difficult to manage client deadlines anymore. I enjoyed working from home, but I was looking for something that was a little less of a time/money exchange. I started reading about affiliate marketing, and noticed that several sites referred people to WA, so I decided to try it out.
I went thru the initial training in less than one week and went premium right away. It's been a great decision.
Hi Tiffany, how is your son doing now? Is he getting better? I hope you are safe during this crisis 🙏 So you got into WA by searching for alternatives for freelancing - such an interesting background, Tiffany, I appreciate you sharing this!
Thanks for asking. My son is much better now. We’ve been enjoying lots of good time together during the lockdown.
I know many people think working from home is the holy grail, but there’s some work you can do from home that’s similar or worse than having a job. I enjoyed freelancing but affiliate marketing gave me much more schedule flexibility.
Agreed, working from home isn't the answer to all work problems. I was also freelancing and some contracts were just hell. Especially when you have a client who only wants to make trouble - you only get paid if YOU find a solution to deal with it.
I'm glad to hear about your son! Health & family is everything, that's why we work on our businesses anyways.
Yes. Those bad clients....they can be tough, but you deal with difficult people everywhere (even as affiliates). Thanks for your well wishes for my family. You're right, that's the #1 reason I chose this business, but I'm so glad my situation led me here.
You've been here since 2012? Wow! Are you doing mostly affiliate marketing now? Are you considering the affiliate marketing niche or a relevant one to WA? Do you still do freelance work?
Yes, I've been here since 2012 but like many young people, it took me a while to understand how important it is to be consistent 🙈 I've had many different niche blogs around all kinds of topics, they were all monetized with affiliate marketing. Later I also started freelancing and I'm also doing consulting from time to time.
Consistency is everything in this "online game"!
That's exactly why virtually anybody can do this. You don't need to do anything clever or creative. There's no "big move" that nobody ever thought of. None of these things.
It's a proven process that's been repeated by hundreds of thousands of people. And it worked every time.
Just gotta keep writing & creating content no matter what 😂 That's the only reason people "fail", they quit too early or just don't create enough content.
No regrets - but a lesson learned for life!

How did you find wealthy affiliate?

Hi James,
Hope you are well...
How did I come across WA
I was reading reviews on SFM and Affilorma and two separate reviews said to look at WA and Income School and gave a great review of both. I was impressed, but eventually chose WA....however I do still watch the income School guys You Tube vids as they are really good.... and for a bit of alternative motivation I watch You Tube vids about the growth and huge success on one of the SFM entrepreneurs, 😉
Hi Cordelia, I'm doing fine thank you for asking. How about yourself? 😊
Good that you mention the Income School, I'd say that's probably the closest program to WA. Definitely not the same but similar kind of quality & content.
Others successes are a huge motivation - I agree! Thank you for leaving your feedback here & keep up the great work Cordelia! 💪
Hi James,
I am ok, family are ok (in fact the adults are sitting round the coffee table doing a jigsaw,) I love that we have the time to do bugger all, and that we are not running around chasing our own backside, in fact I have never felt so well....I work just 2 days a week and I am already dreading the return to normal hours....😕
I'm happy to hear you are doing well, Cordelia! Life has changed a lot the in last few months, I suspect more changes will come our way even when we go back to before.
