I finally found an incredible designer who created pins for me for Pinterest. If you're interested in her work, send me a private message and I can give you her Skype address.

Here's one of the pins she did for me:

And here is another one:

It might be easy for you to create such graphigs but I've always struggled with making designs. So I'm very grateful she made them for me.

But that's not the reason why I'm posting this.

I'm posting because I uploaded two of her pins yesterday and the results today are CRAZY!!

Impressions shot up by 1k+ OVERNIGHT and the two pins you saw above, they alone had over 500 views combined!!

Bear in mind...

I'm running a very basic Pinterest strategy. So these numbers are a HUGE improvement for my account.

I've written about my Pinterest strategy in this post here. But in summary, this is all I do:

  • Re-pin 5 pins every day
  • Keep my group boards updated
  • Follow back anyone who follows me

This takes me 1 minute per day, 2 minutes maximum.

I've been doing this for a few months now and my account has been growing slowly but steadily. It's more than I can ask for given the minimal effort I've put into this.

Why bother?

Last year, I've had just ONE pin go viral and my website traffic spiked like I've never seen before. It was just for a couple days but this has shown me the power of Pinterest.

Anyways, if you like the design of these pins, send me a private message and I can give you the contact details of the designer. She works via Skype.

Thanks for reading and as always, please like this article & if you have any questions leave a comment below!

Cheers,
James

Hello James,

Here is my post about Pinterest impression. The question is, the views on Pinterest are not really reflect to our website views. Maybe it takes time? I use Google Site Kit plugin and those views I got from Pinterest are not shown on the Google analytics.

What do you think?

Ferra

I have set it up but I’m quite lost on how it works.
Have to watch Jays training.
Congratulations on your achievements

Hi Lisa!

Pinterest can be a bit confusing at first with the conept of group boards. But it's actually really simple once you've seen it in action!

Basically, you save your pins in categories - but these categories are called boards.

And not only can you save your own pins, you can also re-pin other pins to add them to YOUR boards.

Once you've done it this all makes more sense šŸ˜‚

Let me know if you have questions!

Cheers,
James

Glad you see benefits of Pinterest, I love the platform as it`s so easy to use and can bring in unbelievable traffic.
I`d suggest you learn to use Canva so you can create your own pins, believe me it`s so easy. It took me time to learn Canva but after I did, I can now create a pin in minutes.
I have over 1000 Pinterest images, I don`t think I`d be able to pay for these if I had someone create them for me.
If you plan to use Pinterest longterm, it`s best to learn how to create your own pins.

Hi Roamy, thanks for your helpful comment!

I've used Canva for all my early pins and other social media posts. I know that with enough practice anything is possible - I just hate all this graphical work, I rather spend my time writing content instead šŸ™ˆ

But you are right of course, for a sustainable long-term solution I need to figure this out.

For now I'll keep going with my "light pinning" and see when it stops growing. Then I'll have to make a decision.

I might get back to you with Pinterest questions, if that's okay! 😊

Thanks again for reading & commenting.

Cheers,
James

Is Canva a free account of do you pay for it?

I have little forays into Pinterest James and numbers go up, I just need to be more consistent and know alot more about how it works.

Hi Linda, consistency is everything in this online marketing world! Keep up the hard work šŸ’Ŗ
