Is Your Blogging Routine Good (Enough)?

Like any project or business, your affiliate marketing blog needs a plan. And sticking with the plan eventually turn into a routine. We don't necessarily think of financial freedom as a routine... after all we're trying to build our independence to escape many mind-numbing routines.
But routines will make or break our affiliate marketing business.
Especially in times like these, where the whole world seems to change - or stand still (depending on your point of view). Your days probably feel different than they used to, for many reasons. (And maybe you even question some life priorities.)
It must surely be an emotional time for many of us... But this time will prove one thing to you: Is your current blogging routine bullet-proof?
The Life Of An Online Business:
The life of our online businesses will always be going up and down. Whether it is external factos (like right now), or personal circumstances (health, family, new goals), we have to be prepared for bad times.
A good blogging routine is a strong insurance against such bad times. We have to continue:
- Creating content,
- Finding keywords,
- Networking in our niche,
- Helping prospects and clients,
- etc.

I'm not trying to use this worn-out wisdom of saying "everything bad also has something good". That's really not what this is about...
What I am saying is that right now, whatever our blogging routines are, they are being put to the test for many of us.
Can we stay focused?
Do we keep pushing our online business forward?
Is our current blogging routine bullet-proof, meaning does it work even in TOUGH times?
Because if our online businesses are to survive and thrive, we must be able to push through hard times. When emotions go wild or time is limited, it is our routines that save us.
Current Situation:
For me personally, I'm doing quite well with most of them - except for one: Content creation. It is a clear sign to me that I need to focus on further developing daily routines that create content consistently.
Judging by my surroundings, I think that many of us are falling back into old habits (watching more TV, talking too long on the phone, downloading that game...)
- Do your current blogging routines benefit you and your online business, or not?
- Has your affiliate marketing business slowed down meanwhile?
I think these are interesting questions to ask ourselves right now and they give us clear feedback on how well our blogging routines are working for us (or against us).
Where do you stand on this? Let me know in the comments below!
Stay safe and stay healthy everyone. All the best to you all, James
