How I Got INSTANT Traffic From Twitter!
I've recently started using Twitter as a new tool to generate more traffic to my newest blog. Last year, I've done the social media challenge with a group of blogger friends, and it showed promising results.
Today, I'm more amazed than ever by how fast you can get results from Twitter.
Depending on the niche, I suggest Instagram, Pinterest, or Twitter. For me, I've chosen Twitter as my main platform (even though I also use Pinterest but that's a slow, long-term strategy right now).
Okay so focusing on Twitter every day for 2 weeks now - what have we got so far?
I am sure many of you have better results than this... Personally, I was struggling A LOT to open up on social media. I'm somewhat of an introvert in this regard.
But I finally started by simply talking to active accounts, joining in on existing conversations, and just being my friendly self overall.
What blows me away is this:
This is INSTANT traffic! And my account is TINY - now imagine doing that with a large following. I could kick myself for not getting out of my comfort zone earlier!
It is very similar to what I used to do with forums and how I've gotten tons of traffic by helping people on forums. But right now, Twitter seems even faster. I know from others that they've had similar results on IG or Pinterest - I can only share my Twitter results (for now).
Let's see how this develops in the future. But right now, I'm amazed.

Hi Rosana, there are plenty of traffic sources to bring visitors to your affiliate marketing blog! Twitter is just one of many - doesn't mean it's mandatory.
Focus on the traffic strategies that work best for you. I've simply discovered that Twitter is working quite well for me personally - and wanted to share it with the WA community :)
In the end, what truly matters is the training here on WA. Stick with it and find what works best for you.

That is smart, so many people are using Twitter and to the sounds of it, a good source for traffic and a useful tool. I'll give it a shot.
I've been absent for sometime but I've just started taking my new website seriously and I plan to implement social media into it.
I'm going to make a Twitter now. Can I follow you once I have an account?
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Brandon!
I've been watching others use Twitter for months, until I gave myself the push to use it as a traffic tool! Now I'm really glad I did - and I'm learning more every day.
Yes, please follow me - I'll follow you right back. Looking forward to seeing you get active!

This post reminded me why I do need to go back and refresh my twitter account!
I haven't revisited my twitter account for some time now, mainly because I tell myself I'm too busy or I make up some excuse being a newbie on many levels professionally.
Thanks for the post!
All the best!

Hi Walt! I was the same: Always told myself I don't have time for Twitter and that it's just a huge "time sink", scared that it would trick me into thinking that I'm working when I'm just wasting time.
With that said, it IS possible to get lost on social media and scroll away precious minutes (or hours).
But that's not what has been happening to me so far!
I write way more now than I used to read. And if I read, I do so to reply with a helpful tweet. So it's been working out great so far.
I have a public spreadsheet where I track my progress, so that others here on WA can follow along. Here's the link if you're interested: https://tinyurl.com/yasgq4nz
I think that if you can find a daily routine to have good conversations with people on Twitter, then it's worth it. Not mentioning how much more efficient it will be once you have a large following.
All the best to you too and feel free to DM me if you have questions!
Cheers, James
