My Online Business Journey - 9 months
It’s already been 9 months, so I thought it would be a good time to finally start blogging and share my success too. I must say that as I go on, I see the possibility of me quitting my job and living on a significant passive income more and more of a reality.
March - April: My first two months, I did not make any money, did not expect that either. These two months was a learning process for me, as I was fairly new to this online marketing world. I completed all 5 courses, spent countless of hours learning online, and built a very solid foundation for my online business.
May – June: I was investing less than 2 hours per week on my online business, as I had a lot of projects to deliver at work, I could not focus on anything else sadly. However, I still managed to get my first WA commission, so that was very exciting, even though over all, I was still spending more money than earning. But being from a family of entrepreneurs, I know very well that it takes money to make money, so I don’t get easily discouraged.
July to September: Now these 3 months are the most interesting of all. I started investing a bit more time to get better results, and it sure worked… I made nearly over 600$ with affiliate program from my websites and in WA referrals. With that money, I already covered my Premium membership with WA for a year, and since they already host my website, I do not need to do anymore expenses. That means moving forward, all the money I receive has become passive income.
October – November: Again, extremely busy at work, I spent less than a few hours during October and November working on my online business. And yet, by the end of this month I will receive $111 in WA commission, and around 35$ in Affiliate Program commission. Sure that’s not what I had in goal after 9 months, but at this point, considering the little amount of time I spent, this is literally free money going in my bank account, and I would take it any day.
To conclude, I just want to say thank you Wealthy Affiliate and thanks to the greatest online community. I know that 2 years from now, my online business can only grow exponentially, and when it’s going to start generating over $15K per month, I will quit my job and possibly become one of the youngest retired Canadian ;-)

Yes, the first month is the learning process, there is so much to learn about online marketing, even till this day I am still learning. I will see you at the top my friend!
