If you were signed into your profile, then you will be accessing the website as yourself, not as a visitor. If you clicked and signed in as a visitor, they will have access to certain areas of the site as a free member. That's a benefit to you because they can see how WA works without paying, so they are more likely to sign up!
I did the tests from Google so, I was definitely a visitor and had full access 2 out of 6 times. I've also noticed I sometimes don't have to log in.....I just go to the page in my favorites and start working. Thanks for your help but, this must be a WA "IT" thing.
And you are logged in as a visitor, not using your current account? After clearing your cookies/cache or incongnito?

Ironically, I did the test from a computer I've never used before, away from home.
