This is in real time, and in real time I am pretty disappointed with myself right now. I had set goals of going through the Get Started Here Course 1 and Affiliate Bootcamp Course and get at least one sale during the trial period.

I Failed.

And I'm afraid I'm going to keep failing.

And I'm going to feel really stupid because some of the people here obviously are doing well and if I fail it will be because I am not capable of acquiring the skill sets they have acquired and I was stupid to waste all that time trying and people will shake their heads about my situation and my nest egg will shrink down to nothing and, and, and – and all of that will make me feel really bad about myself.

Do you ever think like that? It's not very attractive, is it?

When I hear myself thinking these kinds of thoughts I start thinking, "wow, that is real baby feeling thinking" and "how old was I and what was it that made me start to think that way?" I don't know why I do it but I do know it never leads me anywhere very good!

The mind can be a bad neighborhood sometimes. You shouldn't spend too much time there alone!

So, let's try this again.

TAKE TWO:

I made it through the Free Trial!!! No quitting here.

I was here for just shy of a week now, and here's what I DID accomplish. I went through lessons 1-10 of the Get Started Here Course and created a beginning website with a little copy and a couple of Images.

I wrote one blog, actually almost two blogs, if you include this one. I then started the Affiliate Bootcamp Course 1 and am presently languishing in Lesson 8 of the 10 Lessons (because I over dosed on copy writing and ended up spinning my wheels in too many directions and that happened yesterday because I clearly didn't stay with the formula that Kyle clearly laid out).

I created a website for that course and have added a boatload of copy to it, some of which I hope is good enough to keep! I also spent time finding and adding a few images.

And, News Flash, Kyle, who is one of the founders, offered to check out my website(s) and provide some feedback. That happened last night and all day long I was nervous and weird about it. I finally sent him an email a couple of hours ago with the links. I guess I'd have to admit that my "baby feeling thinking" was a little involved there. What if I have really screwed up – but we are not going there.

Continuing, I interacted with a bunch of people and re-wrote one person's About Me page but then couldn't find a way to get the rewrite to them without posting it for everyone to see – which did not seem like a good idea.

I got an amazing email from the affiliate who is the reason I'm here. His words were so strongly positive and optimistic for me, and I so much wanted what he said to be true, that I almost "couldn't be with it" meaning, I think, I didn't feel worthy of them yet. And also that it would be dangerous to start thinking I can do this, my hard work will pay off this time.

Scary stuff, perfectly coordinated with the Halloween holiday this past weekend!

There were a few times during the past week where I was just about brought to tears by some of the kindness I saw being extended to others in this community. Also, by how hard so many people here are working to get where they want to go. I want all of them to actually get there.

This online campus has a pretty serious vibe going on, a lot of quiet hustle bustle as people funnel through the lessons and classrooms. If you're not serious about learning and applying what you learn you won't last very long here.

It is definitely for doers.

I honestly could not tell you what all of this is going to translate into for me yet, if it's even going to translate into anything at all. But right now, I'm thinking it's more than worth the $19 to work as hard and smart as possible for the whole next month, to hopefully, find out.
