When I try to Save or Publish a post on my site, I get the following error: File not found.

It happens in both Chrome and Safari.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have the same issue site support only came back with a message that the classic editor which I have had from ages ago is not supported or tested with the lastest WordPress update. Guess that are trying to stop us from using Classic Editor

Yet my other site has no issue matter of time

I’ve tested the Classic Editor with WordPress 5.6 and it is working ok. What is not working, is when it clashes with another Plugin, which is why only a handful of members/websites are affected.

You can either go through your plugins deactivating them, to find the culprit, or deactivate the Classic Editor and just use the Classic Block within the Block Editor, if you don’t want to convert to full blocks, or use “blocks” yet.

Site support originally told me that the Classic Editor plugin was not compatible with 5.6 which I thought was strange as my other site has the same plugins and was working fine.
After I told them that they finally came back and fixed the issue.

I haven't changed anything and is now working normally as it should be.

When I asked them what was the issue they said as follows:

Hi Andrej,

Yes, it was a temporary issue which has been resolved now.

So it is working fine now but still no idea what this temporary issue was

Andre

Seems dubious haha I do wish they would list what they've done sometimes, rather than just saying "it's fixed" haha

Totally agree makes it sound more like an internal error their side rather than an outside error but at least it's working to think not a single change my side and all of a sudden when I state it can't be the plugin it gets fixed.

I and a couple of others had the same problem. It has something to do between using Classic editor and Block Editor. I had to contact site support to help me out. Mine was an issue in adding a post to my web tab called project. I did a blog showing the link on how site support helped me out on.

Hi, they helped me out too. Hope you're having a nice day!!

I am Steve, thank you

Steve, sorry you are having problems, I can’t help but the answers from our friends are really useful for me to make a note of.
Thank you everybody.
Bux

Thanks Bux

Thank You very much for getting back to me. Yes, current version: 5.6 and I recently added LuckyWP Table of Contents. I'll try deleting that plugin.

How did you get on Steve after deactivating LuckyWP Table of Contents?

Chris, it's working fine now. Thanks again.

What theme are you using. Just wanted to see if it was Generate Press as both my sites with issue use the same theme.

Steve has removed the LuckyWP Table of Contents plugin and it is now working for him. Do you have any similar plugins installed?

Hi, I'm using GeneratePress as well. GP Premium 1.12.3

I just went through each plugin one by one and deactivated even my theme and the issue is still the same.

So it turns out it was a problem with the Classic editor. Support deleted it and now I'm fine. I plan to reinstall my plugin. If you continue to have problems, open a Support Ticket. Have a great day :-)

Tech support managed to fix it I guess it was problem with jsquery in wordpress. There was missing information.
It 4 days and tons of emails and I also contacted generate press and we all managed to get it working.

At the end of a single post, a product review, where the product is available on both Amazon and Walmart, can I put links to both sites at the end? Will either punish me??

<

Amazon definitely will

I'm not to sure about Walmart but I know that Amazon will, especially if you haven't yet qualified with their 3 sales policy. Jim

Thanks Jim. I haven't yet qualified. I was just thinking about giving the reader options. Have a great day!

Good old Jeff Bozos strikes again!
