About IamVirginia

Well, I have committed to this adventure. I'm plugging away slowly through the training and getting alternately excited and frustrated as I go! The help is awesome, however. Everyone is so kind, patient, and understanding of my ignorance. I am falling in love with my new e-family!
About me: I'm single, in my 50s, and living with my youngest adult child who is autistic. I am semi-retired due to a chronic pain disorder (Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis) that limits my mobility. It has been a dream of mine, to find a way to work from home for some time now and thanks to WA, that dream is now becoming a reality!
I didn't think I could do this, But the training is SO thorough! My confidence is building and I am on my way!
So far, I have set my goal of completing at least one training a day and then commenting as much as I can within my network. I’m making lots of great new e-friends!
I'm spending long hours, mostly on the training; but that is what it takes. This is a slow process, because everything is new to me. I have found some good keywords and have ideas for more posts. I need to research them first, though. I am taking my time, but I think I'm moving along at a good pace.

As Abe Lincoln once said: 'If I have 8 hours to chop down a tree, I will spend 6 hours sharpening my ax.'

So far, I have purchased six domains, but I have decided to focus all of my energy into just one of them. I call it: My Secret Place. My niche is all about finding healing after childhood trauma. I have decided to use that platform to write a book about my own personal triumph over said trauma. That book is entitled: Gathering Shards.

If You are interested, you can find the link at the top of my "follow me on" list. That list is at the bottom right of my profile..

I have also created new social media accounts. I put a list of links in my "follow me on" list, if you wish to follow me. I will be thrilled if you do and if you leave me a message with your links, I will gladly follow you as well.
.
I am driven and a hard worker. I don't give up easy and I am willing to put in long hours. I am ready to make this happen.

My spring flower is defiantly blooming!.

"My flower is slowly pushing its way up through the last of the winter’s snow. I know that it is still vulnerable to any sudden frost. The trepidation within me shivers and fears, but though I fear, I have a hidden strength that is disguised and distorted. Because even though the first spring flowers seem frail and vulnerable, the truth is: Spring flowers are the strongest of them all. They are the ones who take the chance to bloom in defiance against overwhelming odds."

That is part of a paper I wrote in college.

While in college, I was a paid peer note-taker (I took notes in class for fellow students who were unable to take their own notes for whatever reason.) I was also an ASC certified writing tutor. That was a paid position as well. While doing that, I was the secretary of the Student Government Organization (SGO) which was another paid position. This is how I paid for college while raising my two children alone as a single mother. Did I mention that I did all this, while also being enrolled in the honors program, a member of Phi Theta Cappa, and maintaining straight A's?

Yeah, I got this!

Great to see that you've added some goals Virginia!

Working towards achieving these goals will happen as you take action on the lesson tasks here at WA. Ask questions when you have them, and take your time. This is not a race, and your time investment will have you up and running before you know it!

You're going to do just great!

Hi Virginia,

There's nothing like setting some goals and actually achieving them! You'll be able to do this because you have already done half the job, setting the goals, now it's time to get working and make those goals a reality.

You will get there by learning from the trainnig here, taking action on all tasks after each lessson, and dedicate yourself to your online business as much as you can.

The more you give to your online business, the more it will give back. It's an asset that will pay you for years to come if you can give it time to grow.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and get over the humps you may encounter, it's only naturally in this process and we're here to help you!

All the best,
Grace
