Newbie mistakes can still be valuable lessons
Hi everybody! Sorry I disappeared. It wasn't my choice. I made some mistakes that got my writing privileges revoked. I thought I was helping people, but apparently, it was not seen as help.
Well, lesson learned! I will not be posting any links to any of my blogs, unless I am specifically asked to do so. Even then, I will probably only do it in a PM and only if asked to do so.
I believe that every lesson that I get here at WA is a valuable one. Grass can grow, even in cement. I made a bad decision, but it will not hold me back. So I will file this one away and move on!
In the mean time, it is good to be back!
I have missed my e-friends!
I still love WA and I hold no grudges. I would just like to use this experience to warn all newbies:
DON'T POST LINKS TO YOUR SITES OR YOUR BLOGS. EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE BEST OF INTENTIONS, JUST DON'T DO IT!
Trust me, there are other ways to help people and it is not worth getting blocked for your efforts!
I hope that the lesson I learned the hard way, will be useful to someone else!

I find this very troubling I see many members posting links to their own blogs all of the time.
What rule did they tell you that you violated to receive a writing ban, I would like to know so that I can avoid this from happening to me.

I shouldn't say this but your post has made me laugh for the first time today. How long were your writing privileges revoked for? Welcome back and thank you for posting!
I have a weird British sense of humour, I suppose I was shocked your writing privileges were revoked BUT I am now even more shocked now that you have said for five weeks. I would of thought an emailed warning and advice for the future would of been sufficient but I suppose there are so many members within Wealthy Affiliate.

You've got a great attitude about it and more importantly you are able to learn as you put it a valuable lesson. At the end of the day, that's what's important.
We may not like making mistakes but that's one way we learn as well.
