Is the server down? I can't save on my main computer and this is as far as I can get on this back-up laptop.

It seems the server was down. My site couldn’t be loaded either about one hour ago. It’s fine now.
Tom

It depends on what WP version you are using. I am on 5.x on one of my sites and I have the same issue for three days now and they haven't been able to fix it. It is an issue with trying to save and the server rejects the request, it is called a 403 error.
Good luck.

I have no issues on my site that is still at 4.9.10.

Yes, I and many others have had a server issue today. If you're online now, have a look at live chat.

No problems here and I’ve been working all day. Try restarting your machine. Something when basic functions stop working, that’s the answer.

I can't do anything. the websites have been working all day is there server problem?

I finally determined that the AdBlocker extension is killing the WA Banners. Do you recommend that I leave the extension off or is there something else I need to fix.
Thanks

Hey David,

I can share with you as to what I do, but the ultimate decision is truly yours to make.

Using Firefox as my default browser, I prefer to feel safer by using AdBlocker and even though I can say to "unblock this site", I have noticed that my Amazon ads still do not display correctly.

What I do to check my advertisement for alignment and overall look is to use my Opera browser to check. Even Opera has AdBlocker installed it does find using the AdBlocker option to "unblock this site".

So, if you use Chrome as your default browser, check to see if that browser will still let you view all types of ads on your website when you select to "unblock this site". (see screen print below...)

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you for your response as always. I was wondering if the Amazon ads worked correctly if adblocker is turned off?

As I said, my Amazon ads work fine in Opera with AdBlocke turned off but refuse to be displayed in Firefox even with being turned off.

It is my guess that it depends on your OS (operating system - example Windows/Mac and version), device, and browser used.

It is true that I want an ad blocker but at this time, without it, I am very happy with how everything is looking. Is there a reason why you use Firefox and Opera?
Take Care Young Lady,
David

I have used Firefox for a long time now as my default browser of choice.

And, i use Opera when I want to see WA link when not logged into WA, for checking my site when viewing Amazon iframes or images added to my site, to double-check a website I just updated... that sort of thing.

Hey David,

It is always wise to keep notes as to how you fixed things so that you will have that knowledge for "the next time".

It sounds like one of your plugins are conflicting with either another plugin or your theme.

If you have made any new additions to your plugins, or recently changed your theme... that MIGHT be your issue. Or, you might try disabling one plugin at a time and testing to see if the issue stops... then repeat until you find the guilty plugin.

You should be able to switch between the Visual Editor and the Text Editor by clicking on the tabs, so that TOO might be fixed if it is a plugin causing this.

If all else fails, SiteSupport may be able to shine some light on this for you. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Hey David,

In Google searching the code that you say is being displayed (and you are correct, it should NOT be there), I found the following guides offered by Google: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gtagjs/

https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gtagjs/renaming-the-gtag-object

https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gtagjs/migration

OR... maybe the following post might be able to help you: https://www.bounteous.com/insights/2017/12/12/what-is-gtag-google-analytics/

Am wondering if you have placed your tracking somewhere on your landing page... given that you say it is only being displayed there.

The code given to you as Google tracking should only need to be added to your website once. So, you have either placed the code on your website using Headers and Footers plugin OR added the tracking ID to your All In One SEO plugin.

The only other suggestion I can make is perhaps the plugin you are using to create your landing page, is allowing this code to appear.

You have not shared your website URL under your Follow Me on section of your profile page so I could only make a few guesses.

Hope you find this helpful.

Go back into your editor and delete the code.

Make sure it stops showing up and if you're wanting to add your analytics code make sure your in the Theme Header PHP editor between the <head> and </head>.

It should work without showing up on your site front page.

Make sure to have the right and complete code in order for it to work. If still having problems let me know or connect with tech support.

Hope it helps,
Reinaldo

Have you installed some Google tracking code into your site?

It looks like JavaScript but with a vital bit of code missing so that the browser is interpreting it as text rather than executing it as code.

This could happen if you copied and pasted into a script area on your site but accidentally didn't copy it all.

Does anyone know what this is?
