How to add privacy policy to the footer of website?
Hello,
Here's one way: Placing A Privacy Policy To A Website Footer Menu! All the best to you,
~Bob
The simplest way I use is to add an html link into the footer, this will show Privacy Policy in your footer and it can be clicked to open the Privacy Policy page
this is an example,
< a href = "https://www.domainname.com/privacy-policy.html/" > Privacy Policy < /a >
this will show as text Privacy Policy
of course you need to copy the URL for your privacy policy page from your site (to make sure not only the domain name but the whole url format is correct) and paste it in the code above, you could simply open your privacy policy page in your browser and copy the URL
you could use a local link without https etc... but to avoid confusion the example above will work.
Or you could add a menu into the footer and have privacy policy as part of the menu... but the text link code works fine and it is simple, visible, familiar
Hey! Thank you Tcuk :)
Examples always make things easy to understand. So, Thank you for the example as well.
Now my Privacy Policy is in Footer :)
One more thing i want to know how to add "COPYRIGHT © 2018" in footer.
that's easy :)
just type it somewhere in your footer...
You could for example type < a href = "https://www.domainname.com/privacy-policy.html/" > Privacy Policy < /a > COPYRIGHT © 2018
and this will show the Copyright text after the link to Privacy Policy...
or...
depending on the theme you are using you may have your footer divided into section and it this case you should have the option to access each section of the footer and type stuff in each secion
or add a text widget to the footer and paste your copyright text

Your website will be brand new and Clickbank wont see any benefit to allow their links on it.
Wait a wee while until you have some posts then reapply.
