Whoop, whoop! I Finally Went Premium!

After 6 months trying to establish my siterubix.com website, I decided to take a leap of faith and join the Wealthy Affiliate gang!!!

Why Did It Take So Long?

Straight up, it was out of fear. I gave myself every excuse that I could to hold off on doing this. I would say to myself:

I lack time...I lack money...I don't have a steady internet service besides my phone...I'm not a good writer...ect. I feared that I would fail. And that my friends is a bad thing to fear, because ultimately you'll never grow if you don't fail. Will Smith said it best when he stated, we fail all the time. We fail through practice which is a controlled form of failure. You won't get it right the first time, but you keep trying over and over again until you do. But in order for you to actually succeed from your attempt, you have to decide to try, so I did.

What Made Me Choose Wealthy Affiliate?

I did a lot of research when it came to website building and not a lot of stuff appealed to me the way Wealthy Affiliate did. The fact that you are able to create free websites while learning how to generate money on any given niche is bomb.com, the keyword search to optimize your content and the COMMUNITY! I feel like that was the best thing about this. You have a mix of people, with different skills sets, willing to lend a helping hand. So let's say, if you don't get the training, you have people who do and are willing to teach you, share their techniques and experiences.

Oh!!! And don't get me started about the Synchronicity I recieved from the Universe! I kept seeing angel numbers everywhere, especially when I would write an article for my site. It was like a sign from the Universe and God that this is just meant to be. These coincidences were so frequent that I felt the Universe was literally saying "Girl! Get it together and just do it!" So I did. When I made it official, the number I saw was 3:11pm on my phone.

How Was I Able To Become Premium?

When I realized it was time to actually go through with premium, I looked for help with my finances. A good friend of mine walked me through how I could be able to pay my other bills and pay for premium. She showed me its best to have certain payments paid in advanced (that way if need be, I could skip a month) and how to stretch a buck. I learned to also ask for help from my family. They are very supportive for my success as well as for my happiness. I also put in some more hours at work, taking on some days for 12 hour shifts, to increase my income.

As for writing, I do most of it in the train going and coming from work. I put on my head phones and just write. I have a specific notebook for wealthy affiliate, which I use for my ideas, articles, as well as for taking notes from the training. When I'm satisfied with the quality of my content, I go on my phone and rewrite the article. Constantly writing allows me to better myself with speed and eventually I end up creating something that is relatable and "post-able". I know it was suggested that you should use a desk top/laptop to write and organize all your content but for me, this seems most convenient. I take my phone everywhere but I can't always lug around a big laptop. And writing things down first allows me to plant the seed of idea and I just continue perfecting the content online, on my phone. Thankfully for the set up here in Wealthy Affiliate and in Wordpress, I am able to use my phone with no problem.

For the quality of my writing, I bug my friends and family members to check my stuff out. They will tell me what I need to tweak and how to make it more engaging for the readers. But sometimes, that is not always an option, so I go on and post it anyways. Through the training recently, I found that Wealthy Affiliate has a section inwhich you post your site for other W. A. members to view and you can review others. I'm going to take advantage of this.

I also removed this idea of destination addiction. I saw the following Instagram post and it made me think " Wow. I'm wasting my energy trying to force things to happen so quickly, because I am desperate for success. I dead could be working on my website and be proud of the fact that I have applied so much time and devotion to the overall concept of my niche and learned so much through the course of making it. My time will come when it does. For right now I need to chill and let it happen when its meant to be, while learning to be happy with what I have now amd continue to work hard."

Advice For Newcomers

Don't be afraid to try. You've done so many things in life that seemed rather uncertain and you are now capable of doing it all on you're own. Challenges will present themselves when you decide to try. Most people feel like those challenges are from the Universe telling them that this isn't meant to be, but in reality, that's the Universe testing your devotion. That's why you must be patient. The Universe wants to see how bad you want this by presenting challenges your way. I always say, if it's too easy in the beginning, it's not meant to be.

All in all, I am very excited to have joined, I feel an abundant amount of support and knowledge presented here in Wealthy Affiliate and hopefully my synopsis of my decision in joining will help those who are deciding to become premium.
