Amazon Affiliate Success Story
It has happened!
I am going to call this an Amazon Affiliate success story, even though my total commissions amount to a mere $3.85.
My niche site has made the required 3 Amazon sales with items shipped before my 180 days are up!! As far as I know this means my account will not be closed and I get to keep all my links intact.
I've been tossing up whether to try adding an Amazon store to my site, but there is just so much to do already, trying to get site content rolling at a nice pace. I did research some training by Jay but haven't watched it yet.
So maybe it's a job for a bit later in both mine and my sites development.
The Other Site
Well my one and only referral hasn't signed up for Premium, she seems to have disappeared so that's a bit of a shame.
On the upside I am working my way through Bootcamp and working on Phase 2, Level 6.
Thoroughly enjoying the training as always and pottering along with the MMO site. Total of 10 posts and 4 pages completed so far.
While it seems kind of surreal there is nothing magic about my achievements. Wealthy Affiliate has the tools, education and support to get us all where we want to go.
Everyone has to start somewhere but the path to Super-Affiliate status is well sign posted and well-worn from those who have come before us.
Thank you to everyone who has provided support on my sometimes wobbly WA journey.
I can't express just how much it means to me to have such a wonderful, knowledgeable and supportive community like WA right behind you every step of the way.

Congrats, Heidi. I was on Amazon Affiliates with an old website that never had any traffic with another program, so I got kicked off. Can't reapply until I have 3 sales from other sources on my new WA website. So I'm in limbo there, but I'm working on finding other affiliate sites in my niche to use until then. Have a great day. Oh wow I didn't know about the 3 sales from another site to reapply! I'm really hoping these three do count as I am expecting they do. I do have other affiliate partners but it's always good to have choices :)
I think that's only because I never had any sales and they require 3 sales within 90 days, I think. I don't see why your sales wouldn't count, especially since they were Amazon sales, weren't they?
Heidi, I enjoy reading members like you who "experienced" something positive. Like finding a flower so new and unique for the first time, that very experience will never be forgotten.

I know how it feels to get close to the Amazon 180 day deadline while waiting for the required number of sales to keep from losing all your links. I went through it last year.
I was lucky enough to only need one sale to keep my Amazon status. That changed to 3 sales shortly after I made my "one sale."

Glad you made the sale, yeah the thought of having to reapply an then redo all my links was freaking me out a bit, hopefully all is good now.
When I was going through my "Amazon 180 day sweating it out" period, I had over 100 Amazon product links.
What a nightmare it would have been to re-do every last one of them!

Ahh it doesn't matter how slow we go Louisa as long as we are moving. We will all get there in the end and as everyone says its a marathon not a sprint.

Congratulations. It doesn’t matter how much you earn, it just shows you can. Exactly the same with referrals to WA. If you can get one you can get more.

Thank you Debbie, baby steps will get us there in the end. It's hard to think some of the big names were here too and probably celebrated their first 3 sales.
