From 20 to 6560 - an update
Hi everybody,
From the 6560 rank-step of the WA ladder I send you my greetings. Hard to imagine that once I was rank 20 or so. No complaints! I have used my time fruitfully and I hope you are doing, too, here on the platform or somewhere else.
I finished 4 websites and linked them to my non-profit. I have succeeded in getting Google Grants for Non Profits, that means free Google publicity, and I am now learning how to use Adwords the easy way: means that I don't risk a lot of money while learning how to do things. I am really grateful for that.
So my time is now dedicated to learn how to best use Adwords, how to write effective ads, checking the stats and changing things accordingly, contacting the help centers when things go wrong in whatever way etc.
I do all this to attract more people to our free broadcasts about important topics in human life, like personal development, getting older, getting wiser, knowing more about the background of what happens in the world and so on.
If you run a legally legalised non-profit then I recommend to you to apply for Google for non profits to get your word out without the huge costs which a running business can effort but not you.

Hello Heidi, sounds like you have spent your time well. The ranking here will never make you money, so I think you made a good decision.
Thank you! Well, what I am doing outside WA basically doesn't bring me money either as what we do so far we do for free and only try to get it out to more people. But yes, it is a success and I am glad about it.

Hey Phil, so nice to see you always answering to my (now very few) posts.
Yes, it was and is a busy time, and when one problem is solved the next is already on the doorstep. But my attitude has changed. Instead of seeing problems as overwhelming burden I know address them with curiosity.
Adwords. It will take time to really figure out how it works, it is a big playing field. Not sure if I ever would assume to be able to teach someone who has to pay every error he/she is making. I already have"spent" about 3000$ and am not sure at all if I gained already new people in our audience. If I had to really pay I wouldn't have done it for sure....
Yeah there is always something to do.
I am glad your attitude has changed to one of rising to the challenge, You achieve a lot more with cuiosity rather than 'what now!'.
Now adwords is free hopefully you can start to make your money back, and learn in the process.
You can always pass on what you have learnt, and if others learn from that then they may make different mistakes, and some successes.

That is great advice. I took stepped back for awhile from Ambassador to get some things in order. But, I did miss the interaction.
I do miss the interaction, too. I am now more on Facebook (although I don't like it) because there are more people interested in our message and I can interact in long threads on themes which probably wouldn't be appropriate for WA
I use facebook quite a bit also. I must admit. I am old school. I do alot of talking to people on the street as well.

Awesome that you have progressed the way it should be done. I have a non profit too and have heard of Google Grants. Rank is a non factor here, have met people who know a ton and are in the thousands.
so do apply for the grant program. It won't hurt, lol, to get free publicity for what you are doing!
I hear it's a painstakingly long and tons of writing to apply. I hate to write and simply don't have the time.
