I usually don't read other peoples blog posts, unless they're from Wealthy Affiliate.

Many of the posts here at WA are really encouraging and informative.

That being said...

I do a TON of research online, and from time to time I come across a blog post that gets my blood boiling.

Posts like this:

In case some of you are old like me and can't see the small print, here is what some dude named "Craig" said about Wealthy Affiliate:

"2018 TL;DR Update: DO NOT promote Wealthy Affiliate. Sign up for a free trial, engage with the community and learn what you can before your access expires, but DO NOT GO PREMIUM. They are selling a fantasy built on a dying business model which serves only to benefit (no surprise here…) the founders of Wealthy Affiliate. You can glean some value from the trial, but do not invest in their training and by all means do not even consider building out any sites using their proprietary services. If you want to know why, then read on…"

Where Do I Even Begin With This?

I would provide the link to this blog, but I don't want to subject mentally fragile newbies to ths garbage.

And frankly, you don't need to read the rest of it.

Apparently,"Craig" wasn't the only one who felt this way.

He also makes it clear he use to be a Premium member at Wealthy Affiliate.

In the name of "transparency" here's the dude that wrote the above comments and owner of the blog bashing Wealthy Affiliate:

One takeaway I gained from this "blog post" is the fact that there are a growing number of disgruntled, dissatisfied, bitter, angry people who canceled their premium memberships at Wealthy affiliate.

They are PISSED!

For example, here are a few excerpts from former Wealthy Affiliate members from the above mentioned discussion:

"The problem with WA is… they don’t put their members through any sort of review process..."

"90% of the people in the WA Community will make next to no money in affiliate marketing and will likely give up."

"The main sales page is a bit misleading in that I feel it grossly oversimplifies the process of establishing a profitable site..."

"Just don’t do the Bootcamp . . . I’m serious. I’ve seen a boatload of abandoned WA affiliate sites..."

"Wealthy Affiliate is milking a dying business model and I’m willing to bet they are not providing additional value or evolving their ‘curriculum’ to adapt to the ever-changing rules of internet search..."

That's Enough!

Let me say this to all the Wealthy Affiliate detractors, haters, or whatever you want to call yourselves.

The United States of America is a free country. You have the freedom to pursue any goal or desire you choose.

At one point in time, many of you thought it was a great idea to become a Premium Member at Wealthy Affiliate with the intent of building a successful affiliate marketing business.

However, something happened along the way...

Something sinister.

YOU LIED DOWN AND GAVE UP!

Notice I did not say you fell down and got back up.

YOU LIED DOWN AND GAVE UP!

Failure finally won!

What Is The Real Issue Here?

For those of you who have the privilege of reading this blog post, let me tell you a little secret...

Ready?

Here it is:

These people say they're angry at Wealthy Affiliate, but the real problem is they're angry with themselves!

That's the REAL issue here.

Don't always fall for the smoke and mirrors that people write online.

The REAL issue with these people is not just that THEY'VE FAILED with Wealthy Affiliate,

it's the fact that they've failed themselves!

They are the reason for their own failure.

The problem is they can't admit it to themselves... So they need to find an excuse.

Devoid of the intellectual honesty to admit they are responsible for their own success, it MUST be some other reason for their failure.

They've instructed their subconscious mind to repeat the message: "My failure wasn't my fault. The platform at Wealthy Affiliate is the reason I failed."

"Kyle and Carson are scammers." (an actual comment I've read)

So now it's Kyle and Carson's fault you didn't succeed.

The bottom line is this:

These former WA members and those who never joined WA because of listening to negative comments have made the decision to allow failure to overcome them.

They didn't LEARN from failure, they GAVE IN to it!

This is what you do to yourself mentally and emotionally when you give into failure!

The 7 Surprising Benefits of Failure

Failure is a tremendous learning experience if you fall down, dust yourself off, AND GET BACK UP and KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

These people aren't doing that.

They just decided to lie down and give up.

Failure teaches us very valuable lessons if we allow it to.

When I read the negative comments about Wealthy Affiliate, NOT ONE person had the courage to admit THEY were the ones responsible for not making money online.

Yes...It's everybody eles' fault... It's not my fault I didn't succeed with affiliate marketing!

If you choose to leave Wealthey Affiliate, that's your right to do so.

You have the freedom to do anything you want in this country of ours.

Heck, if you want to make a living selling Moist Cow Dung, you have that right!

But don't TRASH other people who see the opportunity and take advantage of it.

That's WEAK!

"You Ain't Got No Grit"

Individuals who lie down and fail do not have what is called Grit.

What exactly is "Grit?"

The dictionary definition is: courage and resolve; strength of character.

According to Wikipedia:

Grit in psychology is a positive, non-cognitive trait based on an individual's perseverance of effort combined with the passion for a particular long-term goal or end state.

The website GoStrenths! has an outstanding blog post on what Grit is. Below is a screenshot of the definition of Grit. Every WA member struggling to build a business, or struggling with other challenges in life, need to read the following:

Did you all really understand this?

This is the key to success!

Regardless if it's Wealthy Affiliate, some other online endeavor or a brick and mortar business, if you don't have GRIT, you won't succeed!

In Conclusion...Well, Almost

Negative comments will increase as time goes on.

As a whole, people are becoming more disgruntled and negative.

However, if you have CLARITY regarding what you want to accomplish here at Wealthy Affiliate, DO NOT listen or read negative, baseless comments about Wealthy Affiliate.

Particularly from individuals who have failed with WA and want to take WA down to the gutter.

I'm not talking about legetimate points of criticism.

Wealthy Affiliate is not perfect, and neither are other online platforms.

We have to realise that many people are going to fail here at Wealthy Affiliate, become very critical, and leave.

They are going to share their misery online with whoever will listen.

Misery loves company, you know.

The One Point I Did Agree With

There is one point that disgruntled ex-WA member "Craig" made that I agree with.

Many of the websites and blogs that WA members have created are BAD.

Well, they're not just bad...they're downright AWFUL.

Formatting is awful...Grammar is not good. Images are either too big or too small.

Many of our members websites are a hot ghetto mess.

Sadly, many of these dear members are becoming frustrated because their blogs of websites aren't "comming together" the way they intended.

The good news is ALL of that is fixable, and there are many members, like myself, who are willing to help less experienced ones to improve their websites.

To get the help you need, Wealthy Affiliate has an excellent tool to do this called SiteFeedback.

Make Use Of SiteFeedback

SiteFeedback is an excellent resource for getting suggestions on improving your website.

I've personally made use of SiteFeedback and it has helped my business tremendously.

By getting suggestions from other WA members, both new and old, you have an idea what you need to change to improve readability.

If you are brand new to online marketing, you need to make use of SiteFeedback.

Even experienced WA members from time to time should make use of SiteFeedback.

This tool can save you a lot of frustration and overwhelm when it comes to knowing if your website is formatted well and is user-friendly.

Especially should WA members who do not have English as their first language use Sitefeedback.

Why do I say this?

I order A LOT of comments from SiteComment and the many of the comments I've recieved I have to edit because of grammatical errors and incorrect sentence structure.

So to our dear WA members who do not have English as their primary language and have blogs or websites in English, you won't regret making use of SiteComment.
