When One Method Doesn't Work . . . Find Another
Recently, I saw a really cool way to add your affiliate links to Pinterest, using the tagging system. I quickly opened Pinterest, set up a new pin and . . . there was no tag option. Annoyed, I tried a few different options, but nothing worked.
Off to Google, where I discovered that Pinterest tagging isn't available in my country. Boo!
Sadly, this happens a lot and I'm sure if you don't live in the US, you have probably run into some great idea that just won't work because of your location. There are a lot of things that I can't access here in Guatemala, including Temu, Cashapp, and, of course, Pinterest pins.
Now, because I'm also Canadian, I do get some leeway and can have a Paypal account, Stripe account, and such. That means I'm able to do a lot more than the average Guatemalan. That's priveledge right there, being born in the right country.
Still, it's frustrating when you read about something that you think is a great idea and then it doesn't work for you. What can you do about it?
The first thing is . . . don't quit. It might make you want to thrown your laptop out the window when every avenue seems to be closed, but guess what?
You're not the only person this happens to. And since you're not the first person to find out that you're blocked from doing something, that means someone else has likely found a solution, workaround or a completely different method to use. If no one has found something that works yet, that means it's perfect for YOU to find a solution and share it.
Obstacles are frustrating, but they're also an opportunity to exercise your creativity. Think outside the box. Stop getting bogged down with what you can't do and find what you can do.

I'm sorry to hear that, Genesis! There always seems to be some sort of work-around, so I hope that you find it, my friend!
