First Week of the 100 Day Challenge Complete!

It's been 7 days since I started my 100 Day Challenge, or rather, my challenge to work on my site content daily for an hour. Let's take a look at how it went:

The first few days, I was excited and worked away, racing through the writing. It was a breeze! I was also writing on topics that I am quite familiar with, so minimal research was required. That was fun.

Then I hit a wall. It doesn't help that it was Holy Week and Semana Santa is HUGE here in Guatemala. My husband was off working in concerts and processions and when he did come home, he was not feeling great. He's diabetic, so I was working to make sure he had good food to eat that wouldn't set him back too far, adn trying to keep kids from destroying the house or fighting too much, feeding them, etc. It was chaos here for a while!

Still, I pushed through every day. Sadly, I wasn't as productive as the first three days, but that's okay. The challenge is about actually doing things daily and consistently. Nailed that part of it!

Those two days in the middle were rough. The past two days have been considerably easier and now Semana Santa is over, so we're all home. I anticipate an easier week ahead.

Overall, I've added six new blog posts to my site. That feels like a small amount, considering how much time I had to work on it, but the fact is, these are long posts that I've tried to pack with information. So I feel that's about right. And, if I continue this way, at the end of 100 days, I should have around 85-90 posts.

In addition, the site has finally been indexed. There were errors showing up, so I had to change the theme, which was pretty simple. I've had about 18 visitors so far, too, so looking forward to that number going up drastically.

All in all, I think I'm doing pretty well and I look forward to seeing some actual results! Until next time!
