The 100 Day Challenge

I've been watching a lot of videos lately in an attempt to boost my knowledge. I try to learn something every day. A couple of days ago, I watched a video interview with a successful marketer and he pointed out that consistency is key to success. This is something I am less than stellar at (see previous blog post, heh).

This marketer said that if you do 100 minutes of content production or 100 calls, emails, etc. for 100 days, you are bound to succeed. So I've decided to give it a go. Every day for the next 100 days, I'm spending 1 hour (100 minutes is too abstract for me) a day creating content for my Replace Your Brain site. That's a minimum. I set some other goals, too, but that is the number one goal.

Today is the first day. I felt super productive, using the Pomodoro timer to get in my hour this morning. Making lunch for the family always kills my productivity, but I managed to get some social media stuff done in the afternoon.

Also, to keep this zippy brain of mine on track, I made up a handy page that has 100 tiny hearts to color in for each of my goals. It's just the thing to give me a visual reminder of what needs to be done and that little burst of dopamine when I color in each day.

Any tips for sticking to a 100 day challenge? Anyone else want to join me?
