For example, if I have a lot (20) posts on the same day is that going to hurt how Google indexes me?
That is a lot of post for one day if that is the case. You should try to keep to a consistent schedule when posting content on your website. For example 3 times per week on the same days or 1 time a week on the same day. 3 of my 4 post are siting in the 1st page of bing and yahoo for their keywords and I didn't publish them at the same time of days. Check out the blog post here at WA it may help: Website Content Publishing Strategy Have a great day Gary.
If you have 20 for next day and then 20 every other this is great. But if not, I would post them in some intervals to give yourself time to write new posts.
I. Don't think Google will index you. But I think if. You post. The amount mentioned, as long as you can follow-up all of them, that's fine too.

Is your content spread too thin among them? That could be a problem with freshening and quality of indexing

I have seen recommendations in other places for a keyword density of 1%, 3%, and 6%. Does WA recommend one of these or any other percentage for keyword density?
In my personal experience, I don't exactly focus on keyword density per-say, but I do include my keywords in several areas to make sure the search engines have enough 'hooks' to understand what my post is about. For example, I will include my keyword in the page title and description meta tags, the page header, in one sub-header, and at least once or twice in the article itself. I will also use my keyword as the name of an image I include into the article. This has worked very well for me over the years.
You are correct in that keyword density is not something to get overly focused on, though. Here is what Google has to say about keyword density. It's an older video but still valid today: https://youtu.be/Rk4qgQdp2UA
Ok I found my answer: WA does not recommend a percent. In fact, we should not be using keyword density in our writing process.
I found my answer here Stop Using Keyword Density I do remember hearing of LMI - Latent semantic indexing. But since I left Internet marketing in 2010 it's now the norm. I remember people saying it would never be used (by Google or otherwise). People said the same about blogging when it was new too.
Now, if I hadn't joined WA again, I would have kept writing for keyword density.
OK so now I have to answer this question for myself: Will I accept freelance contracts where the client wants something written using keyword density?

In the video about setting up your website it talks about a WP plugin called WP spam shield. I can't find it in my WP plugins page. Is this old information?
Is the wp spam shield plugin no more?

I'm looking at lesson 4. It says to choose a domain name. Shouldn't I do keyword research first before choosing a domain name?
I think you are right. It can be useful also to buy your domain in the name your main keyword is. It helps you being ranked in Google. Am I wrong?
That's what I have been taught. But in one of the videos here it said it wasn't important.
In general that's a pretty good idea. You may find during your keyword research that your initial niche idea isn't that great. You should really explore 3 different niches and then choose the best of the 3 (or even start over with 3 totally new ones!). Once you narrow down your exact niche, then you can safely grab up a good domain name.
